Thank you for taking the time to read my post as well :)
Hi Pisces, quick question if I may. Would you be able to elaborate on what went wrong with the country of origin PCC. I am from India and I have submitted my PCC from local police and not through Indian embassy or consulate. Was wondering if this would become an issue.

Hi JishaManoj, it was incorrectly obtained from the National Police Commission in our country and not the National Bureau of Investigation, as required. I overlooked this link https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/medical-police/police-certificates/how.html

If you have checked that link before and found out that you needed to obtain your PCC from a local district police station, then you need not worry :)

Thanks Pisces. For India PCC both local district police and passport office has been mentioned. Some other threads have suggested passport office. Highly confused which one is required.

I checked the link and just copy-pasted this. Did you get any updates after your AOR?
If you are a citizen of India:
If you live in India:
For residents of Punjab: You can apply to your local Senior Superintendent of Police, or the senior ranking police official at the police station in your district.

For residents of Delhi: You can apply at your local district police station or online on the Delhi Police website. The website will list what information and documents you need. If you apply online, your certificate will be returned to you electronically.

For residents of other states: You can apply at your local district police station.

For all residents of India: You can apply for a Police Clearance Certificate from the Passport office on the Passport India website. The website will list what information and documents you need.

If you live outside of India:
You can apply at your nearest Indian embassy or consulate.

If you are not a citizen of India:
If you live in India:
You can apply at your local district police station.

If you live outside of India:
You can apply at your nearest Indian embassy or consulate.

Both the options i.e. district police and passport office are mentioned. I am just hoping for the best and hope district police certificate would suffice.
I have only received the receipt towards payment..is this referred as AOR? No updates after that.

The AOR or the Acknowledgement of Receipt is the letter that confirms that the application was received by IRCC. It’s being sent together with the Confirmation of Online Application Transmission that includes the payment receipt number. We’d be hoping for the best

Hello All,

I got my NOI on 12th march. My NOC is 1311 and 0601. I took the screenshot of the email received on EE profile and sent them the acceptation yesterday. I sent the mail 20:49 IST and got a reply from them 00:49 IST(Today) with document checklist. I was surprised with how quick they were.

Nonetheless you need to mention your EE profile number and attach the screenshots.

I hope is this is helpful enough. I will keep updating my status here if its helpful for others.

Cheers!
