Both the options i.e. district police and passport office are mentioned. I am just hoping for the best and hope district police certificate would suffice. I have only received the receipt towards payment..is this referred as AOR? No updates after that.

Thanks Pisces. For India PCC both local district police and passport office has been mentioned. Some other threads have suggested passport office. Highly confused which one is required.

Hi Pisces, quick question if I may. Would you be able to elaborate on what went wrong with the country of origin PCC. I am from India and I have submitted my PCC from local police and not through Indian embassy or consulate. Was wondering if this would become an issue.

My agent had sent the package on 1st May. I am not sure about the receipt date however in any case shouldn't go beyond 6th or 7th May. I haven't recieved my file number yet. Should I check with Alberta?
