Today, I got following response for my CSE. it has confused me more than helping.
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that the application is still in process.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

While the processing times may vary with each case, we will make all the necessary efforts to finalize your application as soon as possible.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

Moreover, we have received your enquiry regarding your updated address and have transferred it to the responsible office.

What does this mean? That they have just received my docs and not started even any review. My aor is 12 April. Only 49 days from 6 months.

Dont need to worry. I got my Landing interview email on 9th August and before that I called CIC couple of times and the agents said same one thing .....Your file has not started processing..... AOR 29 March

called cic yesterday and got the same reply that I got one month ago also.. criminality passed..eligibility and security not started.

Yes, I got an ADR to submit new passports because 2 of the passports expire in 2 months. I submitted the new passports the very next day. I also got a previous ADR for the release of information form back in June.

Better apply for GCMS notes to get a detailed information. Probably, the agent who you were spoken to doesn't have access to your application full status.

My case is also similar and the wait time is killing.

called cic on 22nd and the lady on the other side informed that, Criminality is passed. Eligibility and security not started

As per my GCMS notes my file was last updated on June 16 - I ordered notes on July 27
Only criminality is passed and info sharing complete, the rest not started. Doesn’t seem like they’ve done anything on my file. Does the due date count for anything guys?

What does this mean?

If by “information you provided” they mean your UCI/File Number, then what this message tells you is that they used these details you provided in your CSE to confirm the status of your application and that is, as they’ve said, “still in process” and the documents you have submitted are sufficient for the time being and no additional documents are required of you.

The message doesn’t hint anywhere that they have just received your documents, nor whether they have or haven’t started any review.

My guess is if you want a more detailed response, inquire whether any of the criminality, eligibility or security criteria have been reviewed or assessed as passed.

I applied on July 24 and got them last Friday Aug 23
