Is your spouse is a co-sponsor?Hello Guys, I need some help here. I can see the ecas but i am not able to link the application.
I think i am making a mistake on the last question [number of people in the application].
We are a family of 4, sponsoring my dad and mom [my brother is there too but not coming to Canada]
Any help will be appreciated.
THANKS!Is your spouse is a co-sponsor?
If yes - 2+3=5
If no - 1+3=4
If your brother is not dependent, then minus 1 from above
yup, meI got DM on sponsor today and revue of eligibility says “we are currently reviewing your eligibility”. But the background check still says “not applicable”. Is this normal? Someone else in same situation?
Thank you! Been struggling with linking my app to MyCIC for months now and finally was able to link it. Always tripped on the No of family members question!!!Is your spouse is a co-sponsor?

BUT
PR application status revert back from "In process" to "Application Received"
Is the AOR different for each VFO? I got a letter from CPC-Mississuaga and the contents are different; wondering if this is AOR or if I Should wait for another AOR. The below is what I received.Parents received today AOR from VFO - London UK.
"We wish to inform you that your application for permanent residence in Canada has been received by the Family Reunification Unit at the IRCC Office in London, UK."
The processing of applications starts in order of received date but once the file is in process, how long it will take to finalize the application depends on the complexity of the file. This explains why files are not finalized in the same order they were received. While we endeavour to process all files within the departmental processing standard, complex applications may require more than 12 months. The IRCC Office in London is a large office responsible for 17 countries in three different regions (the British Isles and Nordic Countries, the Gulf, and Pakistan and Afghanistan). Due to the volume of applications we receive it may be a few months before we start active processing of your application."

The AOR you got is from CPC-Missisauga, that is initial stage. After this your eligibility as a sponsor will be reviwed and when you get approval as a sponsor, your parents’ application will be transferred to a visa office may be in your back home or it could be transferred to VO in Missisauga. Is the AOR different for each VFO? If we get passport renewed in India, they give the old passport along so that no visa stamping is required. I am not sure about Iran.Hi Everyone,
Quick question, my mother in law is living in Canada under super visa, and she just received a letter from CIC for sending her biometric for her PR application.
In the letter says she has to leave the country in order to give her biometrics (I assume Turkey would be the best since she is Iranian). But I was wondering if she can do that here while she is staying with us in Canada.
There is a little challenge here that her passport is expired, therefore she can not come back to Canada if she leaves! so she must apply for supervisa again!
I appreciate to hear your experience if you have been in similar situation.
Thanks

There is no option to do it here. If she has US visa, you can try US. Or you can visit Mexico (no visa required). What is the validity of the super visa? If it is expiring with the passport, then you don't have any option, if not you can use the same visa with the new passport (by carrying the old passport with you).Hi Everyone,
