the chances of a draw is very slim on 21st after todays NOI by OINP. If they skip the draw it ll be all over for me so the chances are very very slim for me.

It won't have a bearing on the upcoming draw. I think the last one was intentionally delayed, so OINP guys could get their ITAs. That's my theory though.

Those worrying about PNPs. These were a part of 2018 too. The number allotted to OINP is only marginally higher this year, so it won't make any lasting impact.

Also, check the last year's data. You ll see that the middle months have always been troublesome. ITAs are supposed to be raised to 3900 by the first draw of September. And it's not necessary then that program specific draw happen with a 3 week gap. Last year it happened back to back (with no further skip for regular draws).
Also, the final quarters is usually the most bountiful.

So, just lay your worries to rest for this while and wait for November at least.

Created profile in May, thought would be very easy with CRS of 459. After 4 weeks gap, and shooting up of cut off got difficult and then missed even 24th July draw with tie breaker rule. Lost 5 age points in August , but got an interest letter yesterday from Ontario .
Try improving score wherever possible and keep on believing guys, good things will happen.
Hats off to the helpful people here which provide so much great info.

U should book date for ielts .

Book date and start preparing. If u get ITA than cancel the date but if u don’t get ITA than u don’t have to wait for a long time. If any date is available in 2nd week of September than book it.

If u get ITA (Very less chances) before 10th than cancel date or give the exam and update profile by the end of September.

If u don’t book the date and if u don’t get ITA than you might give IELTS in October and than u will update profile in October which is too late.

How are you so confident that there will be a draw on 21st August? I would have gotten my ita on 24th july if ICES wouldnt have delayed my Eca and when i got my ECA, cic has done the unthinkable that is skipped the draw on 7th August. I think my luck is disastrous. This is all too hard for me to bear

Hello all members

I am in the express entry pool with 453 points. By profession I am a physicist, are there any ways of securing a job offer or a provincial nomination with this profession(NOC 2111) or something similar or any other way by which I can increase my score quickly?

I am full at IELTS and also undergoing an extra degree which will end by next year. But what if I want to increase my CRS in the next couple of months, can anyone please advice?

Plus I want to congratulate everyone who has received ITA and prayers for those who are waiting for. May the HOPE always be on our side!

There might be a draw on 21st but i think it will be 464/465
