Hope well.

I have another success story. It is quite unique because the person and I met on this platform, till today the person and I have never physically met each other, the person's initial application had been rejected, we worked together, in-fact until early hours of this morning we had lost hope because the correspondence letter came in yesterday.

But today, right now we are rejoicing. Glory be to God.

Online Submission: 17th of July
Review of Eligibility: 1st of August
Correspondence Letter: 12th August
Passport Request: 13th August.
Visa Stamping: Awaiting

Please I’m a little worried, here’s my timeline and I applied online
Submitted:12th of June
Biometrics: 14th of June
Passed medicals: 20th of June
Request for additional documents: 27th of June
Submitted them: July 8th
Review of eligibility: July 24th
And since then I haven’t gotten any update and I’m worried. I’m supposed to leave September 8th.

I have a BSC in Economics graduated in 2015 finished NYSC in 2017... Have been a casual staff (not a steady job) would be 25 on the 60th of this month
I applied this month to College of the North Atlantic for a diploma in business management.. My fiancée would be sponsoring my studies.. Do i need to prove ties with my fiancée, he has a business and after my diploma i plan on joining him grow the business with the knowledge acquired... He wants to sponsor My little brother who would be 18 by September with his savings account(there isnt much transaction in the account) he has about 8million in it hope it wouldnt be a problem. Tuition is approximately CAD$4000
Do we stand a chance?

Relax, I also submitted in June although a bit later than you and I didn't do upfront medicals. They take any amount of time ranging from 1 month and even up to a year. Just be prayerful

Hi Louxera,

Please confirm if your course is a diploma or post-grad diploma, if it is the former, then that is not a good plan you need to apply for a post-grad diploma or certificate course. On paper your profile is not going to be impressive to the VO, you need to show that you have been in stable work for at least 6months and is relatively well paid.

So consider the three major things I talk about on this thread, Clear purpose of visit, adequate funding and intention to return to home country.

I’m a nigerian,I currently have a valid visit visa,i went to Canada in March this year and i tried to switch the status of my visa from visit to study but it was refused after 1 month. IRCC said i have to apply outside of Canada.

So i took the bold step to return back to my country,I submitted my study visa application June 13th,2019 and it was updated immediately. I got my first correspondence letter july 11th talking about Biometrics validity.. Ever since then I haven’t heard from the immigration,it been up to 1 month since after the Biometrics validity letter.

I haven’t done my medicals tho,the GCkey accountstill shows that I don’t need a medical exam.

I am worried about my application, my school resumes September 3rd,2019.
I applied to Fairleigh Dickinson university inVancouver.(private university)

Please has anyone experienced this before?

You will surely need a medical exam trust me ; they have just not sent you a form yet but you will need one . Is your eligibility and background still in process ?
