Study Permit Challenges for Nigerian Applicants

Hi guys, I got my approval yesterday.

First Application.
Applied online : June 22, 2019
Biometrics: June 26, 2019
Medical: July 17, 2019
Passed: July 20, 2019
Approval/Correspondence :August 1, 2019

Just want to say, I was really worried as all the documents I submitted for proof of financial ability were much and after managing to compress to 3.9MB, the documents didn't look too sharp, I thought that it would be an issue but I thank God, for favour. I will suggest if you are having same challenges as I did, you can use CamScanner on Android play store, I found out about it after submitting mine with poor resolutions.

Hello, I got admitted for September 2019 and my admission came in late (2019-07-17) first semester tuition paid already and resumption date it September 3rd my question is can I still apply for study permit, Moreover the school said I can only defer till next year September 2020 the course is not available for January.

I think you should if you have all your documents ready and Medicals done. I’m in similar shoes and just submitted for September entry. It all depends how strict the school is with their resumption dates as chances are you might not meet it. That been said you never know still. All the best

You can do an upfront medical but that must be done before you even start applying. I did my biometrics at VFS Abuja & waited to do my Medical. You can submit application without that.

You can do an upfront medical but that must be done before you even start applying. I did my biometrics at VFS Abuja & waited to do my Medical. You can submit application without that.

No you can do your upfront medicals even after submitting application and without getting the request that is what i did as i waited too long and couldn’t wait any longer so i just decided to go do the medicals even without getting the request all you just have to do is after the medicals you will be given a form indicating you did upfront and you scan it and email it to ircc and th

My school resumes in September and I'm worried.

You've applied already, Upfront Medical can't be done anymore until it's requested of you.
