The content itself cannot be disclosed, but let's say it's easy enough for whoever studies for it.
Read the book twice including all the notes on the sides, and do some (free, no need to pay) tests online and you're ready to go.

I felt the test was just an objective way to assess the applicant's language proficiency since most of the questions could be answered with common sense after reading the Discovery Canada guide.

It was fairly easy for those who have studied. Impossible to compare your test to anyone else's though as even those taking the test at the same time, in the same building got different versions of the test.

Read the questions more than once because some of them could be tricky

Reading it once is not enough.

As Seym said, test is easy, study the book as much as you need and do some of the free online tests.You can finish the real test in less than 3 minutes.
The interview is immediately after the test, the faster you'll finish the less time you'll wait for the interview. My advice to you is to resist the temptation of handing them your answer sheet quickly and wait up to 10 minutes. That will allow you little break to jump mentally from the mood of test to the mood of interview.

When I check status online it shows that they started processing my application on 6th May.

It's to early for you to recieve a test invite. I waited 8 months before I got my date.
