Did you get your letter stamped? Is there any other supporting docs that we have to provide? Letter of explanation, etc.?
Hello, No I did not provide any extra reference documents. The format from BOA is perfectly fine. Many have used the same. You do not have to mention in LOE about what the format is from BOA. It is official document with letter head from BOA itself, that is more than enough to legalize the document.Did you get your letter stamped?
My format provided by BOA is very similar to the original posted in this thread so wanting to confirm it is ok?
Also did you mention this in LOE that is is standard BOA etc.?
Thank you so much for confirming!!Hello, No I did not provide any extra reference documents. The format from BOA is perfectly fine. Many have used the same. Good luck.
It seemed based on feedback here and from others on facebook group, the BOA letter is sufficient. That is what I have done, just submitted recently so cant confirm based on my experience yetHi Guys,
I have the same concern here. The Pof document provided by the bank doesn't include credit card information. Do we need to provide other documents along with the bank Pof letter? Thanks a lot!!
Thanks very much for your help. I'm going to submit my application soon. Let me know if there is any update regarding the status of the PoF. Hopefully, everything goes smoothly for you!!It seemed based on feedback here and from others on facebook group, the BOA letter is sufficient. I did the same thing, while probably not necessary, I'd rather provide that info than being put on review required for whatever reason. The consultant I hired told me I need to provide the branch phone number and manager's name anyway.
She suggests including the manager's business card (I have it) along with the PoF letters.
Don't you think it's too much?
Anyone, please?
I need to hear from someone who have successfully submitted the BofA letter...
That is the exact template that I used as well and I got PPR with that letter. So you are good.I visited the bank branch today and asked them for the proof of funds letter for immigration and provided the details that are outlined in the IRCC website. They told me that they have a standard template for account summary info and provided the attached letter.
It is a black & white printout on normal printer paper and not a letter head. Iam concerned about this proof not being enough.
Also, the average balance on my checking and savings accounts are relatively low, but I currently have more than the amounts of funds necessary i.e CAD15531. I sold my equity holdings in shares and mutual funds and transferred the money over the last one month,
I am providing a LOE explaining the origin of funds and including statements from the trading account showing the dates and amounts of the money transferred. I am also including my bank statements for the last month
Can someone please look at the letter that I got and provide inputs. Link :https://ibb.co/cTseWU
If someone has already received a proof of funds letter from BoFA ,can you please share it here.
Thank you.!
Hey..hope you are doing goodThank you @schilz , @canbnd and @master113 .
What I see is that both options (just letter/statements vs letter-LOE-business card) work fine in terms of getting PPR, and none of you got rejected for submitting to little or too much docs for PoF.
The bottom line is, that in case of BofA, anything works, from online statements, to the whole LOE hassle. I'm still leaning towards the latter though, since I'm an anxious foreigner with a highly pronounced fear of application denial
