You have five chances every day. Try all of the combinations of your # of family size from N-2, N-1,N, N+1, N+2

if you need more chances, just sign up for a new cic account.

do not count your husband if he is not a cosigner.
Your family size = 3 for link to My CIC, in your case [ 1+0] + [1+1]=3
My coworker couldn't link his application and he sent on may 2nd. I begged him to call CIC. finally he called and the agent asked how many people you are entering on this application and he said 3. Agent said that's correct now try one more time while i hold this call and it worked instantaneously. So basically it was some error that the agent fixed and my friend was happy that he listened me and called CIC.

With all due respect, if CIC wanted you to email documents, they would provide the email address to you.
As they did not, please draw your own conclusions.
Hi there,
CIC made a mistake into my parents file and I am trying to reach them from last one month, still nothing yet. So please dont advice anything until you know the whole story.

Thank you.
Alex Brown

Please re-read my comment again. I told my coworker counted correct yet not able to link it until he called CIC and they fixed the error for him. Trying all combination is common sense and people would try that first.

...another update on Passport Seva PCC (for India folks only).

My parents finally had the chance today to pick the PCC. So here is the deal. You can get PCC in India via Passport Seva (Rs 500) and also by going to local Police Station (Rs 250). HOWEVER, if you go to local police station, you only get PCC for that specific address / and for the time they were at that address (not India wide)...so in this case, one will need to get it for every address / city in India.

I have included a PDF of the PCC from PASSPORT SEVA here...
https://pdfhost.io/v/N@T0p@Pkc_PCC_Examplepdf.pdf

Also in my signature. Hope this info in helpful for India Folks with Parents in India (in case PCC is requested in future).

We have proactively applied for this, (PPC has not been requested) as my parents are planning to travel to Australia and South-Asia in the coming months so want to tie-up as many things as possible beforehand. If need be, they can do Biometrics / Medicals from other places but for PCC one has to be in India.

...continuing the discussion from a few pages back re: obtaining PCC for India folks from a Passport Seva Kendra...

  • Parents Visited the Passport Office today (had an appointment)
  • Original docs (Passport / Adhaar Card) were verified and handed back. All addresses match and are current. PCC is not issued same day, verification is required.
  • The file has now gone to the local SP office for verification.
  • All clear will be issued from the local Police Station. Timeframe depends on workload. Anything from 2 days to whenever. The Passport Seva agent has seen timeframes ranging from 1 week to 2-3 months.
  • Upon all clear, PCC will be issued from Passport Seva Kendra. Have to visit in person for pickup. No option of having it mailed.
  • People whose parents are here should obviously get PCC from consulate.
  • Application status can be tracked online. Current status:

PCC application has been granted on 15/07/2019. Police Verification has been initiated and a request has been sent to SP Office, District East Delhi. PCC needs to be collected from the Passport Seva Kendra where the applicant applied after a 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at the Regional Passport Office. The applicant would receive an e-mail/sms once the PCC is ready for collection.

Process is documented here:
https://www.wikiprocedure.com/index.php/India_-_Obtain_a_Police_Clearance_Certificate
Step 12,13 &14 are the time-consuming stages.

The Local Police Station- East Delhi (where the file was sent from Passport Seva) contacted Parents for verification date and time. An officer will visit home tomorrow and process the file. 2 days from Passport Seva to the verification scheduling call. Not bad. The officer mentioned another 2-3 days and the PCC should be ready for pick-up from Passport Seva. All-in-all a weeks effort it seems. I will keep posting updates.
QUICK UPDATE (India Folks Only)

PCC is now ready for pick-up for my parents (no appointment required for pick-up). It took exactly 1 week from date of appointment to get this message from Passport Seva (via SMS) in Delhi. Mileage may vary in other towns / cities.

In Gujarat (India) Passport Seva asking PCC request letter from CIC to get PCC.

Really? Weird! The Passport office in Delhi / the Verification officer didn't request this at all.

Is it important that passport should have the current address for PCC?

guys, we did ME on Monday, and they sent the documents on Wednesday, from the few responses here i do expect an update today (it looks like the whole thing takes 1 week or so). did ppl who submitted their ME all get a response? if not how long have you been waiting?

nothing against anybody but why don't we check tracker before asking any timeline questions?? I feel that's why the tracker was created and someone (Thanks to @Robert and @YULIA-2016 ) is putting in so much effort and time to keep it upto date and accurate. Lets make good use of it and ask relevant and important questions here :)

i do use the tracker before asking a question, that's how i figured it takes about a week for the process for some.
but I dont know if ppl who got medical request went to do an exam and when they did it, it can only be updated to the tracker after they have gotten a result.
anyway
