Added you.

I am no senior but work experience under CEC only counts after submitting work permit application.

456 will be picked within September hopefully.
Thank you and Sorry I didnt quite get that. I worked in Australia part time which is 20 hours a week while being a student. So do I have to submit an application to CEC for this? If I show the reference letters from my employer, wouldnt that suffice?

I apologise, i thought you said you worked in Canada while being a student. CEC is canadian experience class and people with canadian work experience come under this category.
Yes reference letter to show foreign work will work. You can submit additional proof like T4 or paystubs if you have any.

Any idea when are we going to have the FST draw like the one happened in May.

Hi all,
I am new to the forum and have a lot of queries in my mind .I hope the thread would be helpful.
I recently sent my masters ( M.Sc
Chemistry 2 yr)assessment to CES. I am hoping that it would be assessed as a masters degree and it would fetch me 7 points and I will be at 448. I have two queries related to this .
1. Is M.Sc science degree counted as masters by CES?
2. Is there any hope for 448 score??
Your reply would be appreciated.

No clue about Q1

For Q2: Hope yes.. Surety no..

See statistics show that 451-600 pool didn't rise as much as it rose from Feb to June.. but that depends on influx of candidates and their CRS..

Trend shows CRS score falls around year end..

My advice.. Hang on.. How long before you turn 30?
Have you maxed your IELTS score?

Hi All,

I am not sure about FST draw, but I expect a B2B draw this year. Here is my analogy.

When we compare the total ITA's issued at this time last year we are ahead by 1,800 ITAs (Till July 25). We have 49,000 ITAs this year compared to 47,200 same time last year. From Aug to Dec 2018, there were 42,600 ITAs. As we know that the target for this year is slightly higher than last year. So we can accept the 1,800 extra ITAs and expect at least 42,000 ITAs going forward.

Here is the tricky part. Assuming the draws happen at 2 weeks interval we have 10 draws until Dec 11th. There is no way for a draw on Dec 25th :)

This means there has to be 4,200 ITAs per draw going forward. More sensible option is to have one B2B draw and have 2 weeks gap from then on. This would mean keeping same ITAs per draw and the last draw date will be Dec 18th.

So I hope we have a B2B draw soon. Again I may be wrong and this is just my analogy or expectation. This forum is all about hope isn't it:)

You can show experience as a student if it was a job that was not linked to your degree and if it could be worked without the degree you were pursuing at the time. For instance, a graduate assistant job will count and is mentioned in the NOC codes.

Wat a close analysis. Appreciate your analogy.
Is there any chance for 448 by the year end??

Hey All! I finally got the Golden E-mail (ITA).
My journey was quite long.
I started up looking up from R.O.H 89. Stayed silently and observed.
Did IELTS 13 times and became potential with 448 in February 1st.
Lost 5 points again on 1st March on my birthday.
At last managed to increase my points to 459 and got the ITA.
I know, still I have a long way to go.

I should thank all of you in this group. Special thank goes to 13nitinsharma, NickSharma01, EnthuChap and Angel113 for all the valuble advises yo'll gave me. I shall remain intact in ROH and hope to see rest who struggle will get their ITAs soon.

I'm not a senior or a good predictor. But I feel there is a chance for everyone above 445 within 2019. Dont just wait for your fate. Try all avenues to improve your scores. Do not just keep this just a dream. Make it a reality.

All the best Amigos!!! :)
Heartiest congratulations mate. Wish u the very best ahead.

@Aarthavsharma

I am in the exact same situation. I have done my MSc Chemistry.. Have sent docs to CES.. Hoping to get it evaluated as Masters by them.

As per my research and the posts I read, they mostly recognize 12+3+2 as masters. Fingers crossed. *this Depends on the universiy as well.

All the best.
