Hi Experts,

I applied EE when I was in PGWP in Canada while my husband was in India. I received Invite under CEC and his biometrics request was processed in India. Now I got an email from CPCV for a passport request stating my name to submit my passport and accompanying family member passport to CPC Ottawa. There is also an Annex A included.

Since my husband is in India , there is no where it stated where my husband should submit his passport to get stamping and his COPR.

I wrote emails and called CIC , there is no proper reply. I am worried. Should I submit the passport with PPR email in Canada CPC and with this same email can my husband submit his passport in VFS India to get his passport stamping and COPR?

Can we do separate landing and get our landing PR ? Will there be any issues?

Kindly let me know if you have thoughts/ comments

Thanks

How did you solve this? I have the same issue
Hi ,

I raised a request in IRCC web form explaining my situation. I received an email after 7 days saying that an instruction has been sent to concern Visa office. After 2 days , I received a PPR email with instructions for VFS Global Processing. My husband took the PPR email and also the IRCC webform reply email, attached it with his Passport. I got approved status today and expecting my passport this week.

Yes I submitted in Ottawa and he did in India
Thank you and good luck with your passport.

For the record and for further readers I did the same thing: I sent my passport and eventually a letter to IRCC and got the response that they contacted the local visa where my spouse is but didn't receive any further instructions yet.

you will receive a passport request for your spouse after you submitted your passport to Ottawa or your spouse can take the PPR email sent for you and the response email that you received from IRCC and submit the passport in India if you're nearing the 30 days time limit

Hey again so sorry to bother you,

20 days and still nothing, they didn't contact me! Ijust wanted to ask who made the PPR request to your husband in India? is it vfs or another visa office? also did they contact you first? or did they sent the PPR for him directly on his email or online? Also I hope you got your passport already

I received the PPR request from CPC edmonton since my case was processed there. I raised a IRCC webform titled for Permanent Residence asking them to send Instructions for VO in India to process the stamping. within 7 days I got the request response in email. after 4 days I received my PPR request for Husband. He took the IRCC webform response email and the PPR request , his passport and photos to VFS in India.

No worries, You can still ask your spouse to take the PPR request email which you received and your Webform Response from IRCC , or LOE that u raised a request to IRCC to send instructions for your spouse and submit it in VFS. This is what they told my husband when I didn't receive email from IRCC.

I also attached a LOE when I submitted my passport mentioning that I raised an IRCC webform request to IRCC requesting an instructions to be sent to VO office in India for my husband

You can do separate landings, but the Principal Applicant (you) has to land first.
