Could you please send me the steps for ECAS and CIC Linked?

ECAS - Use receipt number or application number if you have a permanent file number.
2 - use your information for the second step of the process.

For CIC , YOU will have to use file number and name. then the second part, you should use the principal applicant's information.. hope this helps

Try calling them again tomorrow, there are many here who called one agent, did not find any info and next day another agent gave us all the info etc. May 7 looks like already should be ecas or AOR with few exceptions.

The best agent will be able to give you a temp file#, which of no use at this point.

Agree but @gestacio issue is that agent was not able to find any information in their system at all, which is very concerning. So to put those concerns to bed, the agent should at least confirm that they see the application in their system. The application was received May 7.

Have talked to some very bad and rude agents, some are very nice though, it is a hit or miss, some people are extremely rude and do not want to bother checking anything, just call back till you meet a nice agent

Yes he does have the proof of delivery from courier company. But, his concerns are valid. As per our tracker, barring exceptions, most of the applications till 13 May have received AOR and have ecas. His application was received May 7 and he has no ecas/AOR etc. When he called the agent, the agent was not able to find any info in their systems, hence my advise to call the agent again tomorrow.

People from May 3rd & 6th also still waiting. Couple of pages back I mentioned I would like to know why these files are not processed. I would probably never know.

Some May 1 also, it seems very odd and random, May 3 already people got approval letter

I see that additional documents were requested from you, may be that's why ?. Do we have any from May 1st where nothing was requested and status is still "application received" ? I know there are some from April time frame with that scenario.

If you see in the tracker, there are many people from whom the documents were requested, but they are able to see their eCAS, and their applications are progressing.
The whole process is very unpredictable.
