Most likely, you will get higher band (god willing). https://www.britishcouncil.in/sites/default/files/application_form_for_enquiry_on_results_0.pdf See this pdf file for more info. You will have to send the form to the mentioned office address with demand draft and a cancelled check. If your scores are changed, only then you will have to submit the TRF form at BC hyd office and a new TRF form will be sent to your address in a week.
InShaAllah, thank you so much for the confidence Mirza Baig, I will go through the pdf and apply asap, will update the progress here.

It should be cancelled cheque. Where is it written to send passbook? No private bank issues any kind of passbook.
It is either cancelled cheque or front page of passbook copy .This is for settling the refund incase there is an increase in score.

Hi All,
Name: S Ajay Kumar
Exam Date: 01-06-2019
Exam Centre: Kottayam (Kerala), India (BC)
Result date: 14-06-2019
Result : 8L 7R 7.5S 6.5 W
Applied EOR on 27-06-2019
Got confirmation on 02-07-2019
Still waiting.

I have done my writing quite well and I believed that I will hit a 7.5 this time. But not sure why they marked me down and from this thread I see a lot of success stories. So hoping for a 0.5 increase in W

A question:
Task 2 was - In many countries, people have more health problems because they choose to live an unhealthy lifestyle. What do you think are the reasons for this and how can it be solved? Give relevant examples from your experience.

I did the paraphrasing accurately in the expected format (using other relevant words carrying the same meaning and ensured that the grammar is well above good).
In the BP, I said increasing craving to fast food items (despite knowing its harms, people continue consuming it to satisfy taste buds) and extreme laziness (people hiring maids to do the household work and following a sedentary lifestyle and wishing not to come of out their comfort levels) are some of the reasons why people are facing various health issues.
To deal with people consuming junk food items, govt can levy an additional tax on fast food restaurants and people will stop consuming it due to the high cost. To counter the issues with the sedentary lifestyle, govt can create awareness among people about the harms of an inactive lifestyle and encourage ppl to go to gymnasiums.
Wrote relevant and appropriate examples.

So, according to you guys, have I exactly answered to the questions or was there any deviation in the answer.
Pls advice.

Regards
Ajay

Hi Ajay,

By reading your post on this forum, I can clearly understand how upset you are with the result and also worried about the EOR. I’m in the same spot as you are now. I’ve applied for EOR on 27 of June (IDP) for writing module as I got 6.5 and I’m need of .5 extra. One thing’s for sure that, if the result is being changed in EOR, that means there is some negligence from BC and IDP while marking our writing or speaking module on the first attempt by them. Either it could be a money making scheme for them or they have examiners who are not as good as they are supposed to be. Anyway, if you are confident about your writing, rest assured you will have a positive result in EOR... Don’t be disheartened or worried. Keep praying, be optimistic.

Thank you dear for the advice. Did you read my answers once and see if it completely relevant to the question. If not, could you read once again and let me know about it :)

Yes, I’ve read your post completely. There are many ways to write an essay. The hints which you’ve given seem like you are somewhere between 7-7.5. Saying this solely because of essay writing experience. Moreover, I’ve been learning from British Council’s certified trainer (10+ years experience).

Thank you Dear,

As long as it seems to be an essay above 7, I'm fine. My main concern was whether I have answered to the question or if I have deviated. Your comment looks more satisfying. Hope for the best and looking forward to get 7 and above in the EOR (God willing).

Hello everyone!

I would like to share my EOR success story:

Test date: 01 June 2019.
Original score: LRWS 8,7.5,6.5,9.
EOR date: 14th June 2018.
Module: General Training. Applied for writing.
Test center: Miami, FL. (BC).
Response from BC: 08 July 2019
Revised score: LRWS 8,7.5,7.5,9.

I had already taken the IELTS exam on November 2018 but sadly missed CLB 9 as I got a 7.5 in listening. I lost focus for a while and missed many questions. The scores were: LRWS 7.5,7.5,7.5,8.5. I decided to wait for a while and prepare better for the listening section.

For the second attempt, I was very confident about my writing but I was shocked when I saw the results on June 14th. I knew something was wrong as I had gotten a 7.5 before and I was sure that my performance was better than a 6.5. I paid the EOR fee the same day but did not get a notification later on. My handwriting is not the best so that was my only concern. I really did not want to take this exam again.

I was able to read every single post on this thread while waiting and many others and this gave me hope. I remember vividly the sleepless nights but still managed to be positive. I prayed a lot. God was my comfort. So many success stories but also so many unchanged scores. Every case is different and it depends on how sure you are about your performance and also a bit of luck.

I did notice that my score was changed two days after I received the notification from BC that my score was changed.

A piece of advice, prepare well (identify your weaknesses and turn them into strengths), believe in yourself and if you are confident enough that the results posted do not show your real performance, give EOR a try. Pray for the best but prepare for the worst. I was already preparing to give another attempt on august while waiting but I’m glad that’s not going to happen.

Nothing worth having comes easy so keep fighting for your dreams! Failures makes us who we are but the attitude in which you respond to them is what makes a difference. Let’s go for more success stories!

New CRS score is 475.

As far as I see the messages in the thread, for people who are to wait above 22 days (after the acknowledgement of receiving docs msg), the result is mostly positive.
It is the second week of my waiting. No msgs apart from the acknowledgement msg.
Called BC and they said, my EOR is still under process.
Wrote my writing really well satisfying all the required parameters.
Hence looking forward for a. 5 increase. :)
