Hi guys,
I have undergone the medical examination on 28th march and the doctor gave me a e-medical form. I have applied for visa on 30th may through online. I haven't seen any upload option related to medical certificate. Now they have sent me a msg to undergo a medical test(IMM 1017). What shall I do now?

You won't see it,rather they will request for it. OK! Just wait, if they satisfy with those one u uploaded, they will ask you of a medical records but if they haven't satisfy ,they will just denie you visa.
Again, they might also ask of the medical and after everything ,they will still denied you visa, so.... Pray hard
Thanks.
Yours sincerely,
Dompax

So it seems like you did an upfront medical before you submitted your online application. In theory once you do an upfront medical, the physician automatically sends your results to the Embassy and nothing is required on your end. But in some cases what happens is that when you do upfront medical, the embassy does not properly link it to your profile and then afterwards requests it again. Since you already have a valid one, I would recommend that you email your local embassy and tell them you did your medical already and they are requesting it again. Attach the receipt in the webform and in your email. You have 30 days to respond to that letter. I am also in a similar situation where they requested my medical yesterday and I had upfront medical, now my physician won't do my medical again since it's valid for 12 months. So I emailed my visa office in Abu Dhabi and also filled out a webform with the information. My visa office takes about 28 days to respond so hopefully something can be done, otherwise I am trying to convince my physician to just do my medical once again and that new medial can be forwarded to the visa office.. It's quite tricky and I don't know why this happens.

Can we take the medical exam twice?

The thing is you can take it twice, but it will be difficult, the local medical centre don't do that and insist that you don't need another one for at least 1 year so would always recommend to contact CIC and get it solved :/

In the same exact boat and I'm panicking like crazy. Why were we not asked to upload anything regarding the upfront medical exam? So weird.

Contacting the Canadian embassy in India. Hopefully, they reply promptly. I've also contacted the medical centre to see if they can somehow reforward my results.

I contacted my medical center and they just said that they have sent it and can't do anything now. All I was trying to tell them was to at least send them an email to link it again .

Maybe ask someone else at the centre? Here's what mine said specifically:

"You have received the request for the Medical, but you have already done the upfront medical.
Hence we have written to the Embassy to link the files.

Its not a common thing but recently we are getting queries of such type and as per the instruction from the Embassy we are updating them the details.

We only intimate regarding the Embassy that medical records are to be traced under the UMI no."

I sent them an email earlier today with all this information and then I also went into their office and they just said we can't send them any email or query. The medical center just said that you need to use the webform and there's not much they can do.. I have exhausted that option and I know they won't listen. Now I just need to wait for their reply for my emails and webforms. Nothing else can be done.

Update:

I got this from my medical centre today who said the Embassy sent this:

"Please be advised that no further action is required from your panel site. Upfront medical(his previous med) has been linked to the file. Please inform the applicant for the same."

And I just randomly decided to check my application online and it now says:
  • July 11, 2019 You passed the medical exam.
I didn't get an email or update but still, very happy! :D

Hopefully you get good news soon!

Hi @Hassan7601, I am in a very similar situation - my medical centre is refusing to forward the results again, and I have sent in the webform. I also received a notification saying that my visa office can take up to 28 business days to respond. Could you please let me know what happened with your application and if the visa office responded in less than 28 days? Thank you.
