Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Has anybody with parents on supervisa / visitor visa and did not pay biometric fee with the application
been asked by CIC to do biometric and pay the fee regardless ??
(please do not quote CIC website, I have read it, please share your actual experience)

Where did they do their biometrics? I mean which country?

They are back home. So they got it done in Ahmedabad City, India

Guys I have an update on ECAS at 10 AM today. Surprisingly it is only on the Applicant side ..changed to "In process" and added second line ...no movement in myCIC though.

in ECAS, sponsor side is still application received.
Anyone witnessed such situation?

What are the statuses under mycic subheadings? Mine both were in process from the same day.

Not all May 1 got approvals, some Apr 26 still stuck at App received

Yes I saw that.. But people from May 2 and May 3 also got approvals I guess. Not sure if they have any specific pattern of processing..

Same happened to my parents, IRCC asked me after I submitted my sponsorship application to pay bio fees since the visa bio is different from the permanent application.

Hmm. My dad was in Kuwait and Iraq from 1978 to 1984. How can he get PCCs from these two countries? Any suggestions.
