Hello everyone! I am now waiting for my Citizenship Test invite. Anyone here can give me an idea on how long the whole process takes? I have a flight on the last week of November. Worrying that I wouldn’t have a schedule test/invite of oath by that time. It would be great if someone can enlighten me with the timeline. Thanks a lot!!

Well no one can reply to that as it depends case to case and also processing office to processing office. Look at spreadsheets below (2018 and 2019) to get an idea about timeline. There are also sheets at the end of file where processing time as per processing office is given.

my daughter's PR card and passport has expired, when I call CIC they told me I need to take her documents when I appear for the test, she didn't confirm if an expired passport and PR card will be fine.

I don't want to spend money on unnecessary renewals (I don't plan to travel outside canada).

Any pointers or advice
