I am from Edmonton and completed my Test on May 3rd. Waiting for oath since then. My status is Decision Made.

I’m attending the oath on Friday...super psyched!

Would like to know if it’s possible to add a preferred name to my passport?

My original name is hard to pronounce in English so everyone calls me by my English name, and I’d also like to add that name to my Canadian Passport.

Hi, does anyone know why citizenship app processing for Brampton is soooo slow ?

Here is my timeline. Please update my entry -

1) App Delivered : 29th Oct, 2018
2) AOR : 14 Jan 2019
3) In Process Ecas : 18th Jan, 2019

5) FP done : 2nd March 2019

No information since last 4 months

We are in same boat as well.
Still waiting after fingerprints.

Fingerprints request came on Feb 26, 2019
Took 1 month extension as my parents are out of country
Fingerprints given on April 5,2019
Nothing came after from CIC.

Similar situation, my FP reqest reached IRCC in March 2nd week, a week later than asked due to me being out of Canada. I did notify IRCC about it and they acknowledged it, nothing after that
