I plan to boost my crs score by taking a diploma. Therefore I decided to opt for ATHE Level 4 Extended Diploma in Management which is a 120 credit size qualification from Notting Hill college. I plan to take the course online. Do you think that such course might be accepted as a second degree and would qualify me to have "Two or more certificates, diplomas, or degrees". I already have a bachelors degree certified by WES.

You have 2 options:

1. You can send a replacement document, i.e. the revised document via CSE

2. Send a cSE and explain the error.

Either one works.

Also, I did not claim any points for my current job, although mentioned it in personal history and the company is shutting down which would make me unemployed by the end of July. Do I need to raise a CSE for this as well as inform IRCC about being unemployed?

what are the differences between e-GCMS and GCMS +? The main purpose is to ensure whether I under comprehensive security screening or not. This is based on ADR asked because of my spouse's work as a state civil servant.

e-GCMS: Provides you with the GCMS notes, that contains the processing details and the officer's notes.
GCMS+: e-GCMS and the copy of your application and all supporting documents filed along with your application.

If you received the ADR, that usually happens during security. Only after security is conclusively passed, and it has been more than 2 months after that, then only you may be under enhanced SS.

For not you only need e-GCMS.

To get an answer to this you will have to check with the concerned institution or someone who has done it before.

IF you send any additional documents, it doe snot delay the processing of your application, unless it is about adding a spouse.

As regards the employment for which you did not claim any points, you do not need to inform IRCC about it, since you are not claiming any points and the application is locked the day it is filed.

I cannot predict anything on this. You should get in touch with WES and ask, or talk to someone who has got the evaluation for the similar program.

My wife is sponsoring me . she was an immigrant 2012 .she hasn't gotten job until now because she has been studying for these years and getting master degree too however , her graduation was week ago . she started to look for job. .
MY QUESTION : Is unemployed sponsor during sponsorship time will cause any kind of delay for the sponsorship process ? we have been 16 months waiting . Shall we send CIC and tell them that she finished studying and she will start look for job ?

For sponsorship, bing employed is not a prerequisite, all the sponsor needs to show is the following:

• You’re able to prove that you’re not receiving social assistance for reasons other than a disability
• you can provide for the basic needs of any persons you want to sponsor

As long as you meet the above, you are good.

@legalfalcon, we had a remed for my child with a consultant in February. The specialist identified speech delay then recommended speech therapist and normal schooling. So, we thought it would be a straight forward case for IRCC to reach a decision on medical. However, 4 months later medical isn't yet passed. In fact there is no indication that the medical file has been picked. See extract from note below.

If I look under Admissibilities, where the Security title is, there are only 2 activities. One for myself and one for my wife (main applicant). Mine says in progress by cbsa and my wife’s status is not shown. However the dates on both are October 2017. Nothing since.

If I look under the title “Activity”, the last 2 entries were for me and my spouse with our medical status moving from Passed to Not Started - they expired obviously 1 year ago and they haven’t asked us to redo them. After those two activities, at Activity 3 until 10, it’s all titled Security Screening next to “Sub-activity/Activity type:” with the status moving for my wife and I (each separate entries) from “ready to be assessed, to submit, to ready to be assessed, to in progress, to received by CBSA and last one was “in progress by CBSA”.

A year and a half ago I had requested CSIs notes for myself and my wife, my wife’s notes came back that there’s no record of her implying she wasn’t sent to CSS or at least not by csis. For me they said it was under process. What do you think the chances are that 2 years later and after my css was completed they decided to send my wife for css?

Hi @legalfalcon. Would appreciate your expert opinion on this. What would these notes mean? If they wanted to reject me they would’ve done it already, but what would cause such a massive delay?

No I haven’t requested GCMS will request e-GCMS. Thanks for the advice. After biometrics I haven’t heard back from them
