CUSTOMS RULES AND IMPORTATION OF YOUR PERSONAL BELONGINGS

You may bring your personal belongings duty-free when you immigrate. On your arrival, Canada Customs will require a list of all of the items that you are bringing into Canada.

Two lists are required, one of the items that you will bring with you, and another list of any items to follow. In order to import your belongings into Canada, it is essential to ensure that any equipment, machinery or tool is completely free of soil.

This was sent to me today for my wife. Does anyone understand this?

Thank you.

Nothing at all. Just now I sent this webform thing, let's see if that will wake up somebody in London. 40 days till I hit the 12 month mark, all can still work out as planned : )
Hi netraam

Can you tell me how can i send that webform

Here's the link: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/contacts/web-form.asp

Not sure what good it will do, but worth it to give it a shot. Might poke the right person to take a look at things...

Good luck!
So to add to this, their reply contains nothing new...

"IRCC’s goal is to process applications under Family Class (Overseas - spouses, partners and dependent children) within 12 months, however some cases may take longer for a variety of reasons e.g. background checks/interview requirement/DNA testing etc.

IRCC aims to meet the service standard 80 percent of the time however in some cases this service standard is exceeded. Please be assured that it is our aim to process your application as expeditiously as possible, and we will be in touch as soon as there is an update on your file."

But who knows, maybe it has been pushed forward in some way (I like to think : )

2018-2019 should be better than the 73% they had for 2017-2018 to complete within 12 months. The 80% stat was in fact for within 15 months.

I sure as hell hope so. Forty days left until August 2. Nothing since Feb.28. Mexico City VO. It's over thirty days since I requested the notes. Nothing there also. Reading through the April, June and July 2018 fórums, it seems that a lot of activity happens in that last month.
Feel free to share any experiences with the Mexico VO in the Mexico VO forum ☺️
