My file was very straight forward .1st marriag for both that too arranged by parents in 2015 and we were in contact since then . I sent them every single proof since 2015 and yet my file moved to NDVO . And i have seen people who met online a month before their marriage they are getting PPR in couple of months . I know its depends case to case but when you know that you submitted everything still you wait more tha others it really hurts .Anyone here can explain why does the file gets sent to NDVO in certain cases? Are these non routine applications (Divorcee, dependent kids, adopted kids, 2nd marriage, non traditional marriage, inter caste marriage, etc) or just a generic normal arranged wedding? Just trying to understand the process of why there's such a huge number of applications going to NDVO.
According to the standing committee on citizenship an immigration, the majority of files do get transferred to local VOs, not just NDVO, but generally. https://openparliament.ca/committees/immigration/42-1/38/mark-giralt-1/Anyone here can explain why does the file gets sent to NDVO in certain cases? The transcripts are from 2016, but it doesnt appear that the process has changed significantly since then.
