I ordered them today, but it will HOPEFULLY almost be over by the time I get them. LOLYay!
I still recommend ordering notes, though. Might put your mind at ease.

Is there a reason why some October 2018 applicants are receiving their AIP? That is awfully fast, isn't it? but happy for them.
Yeah totally agree with you! And then some local offices horde them as well. Etobicoke seems moving once you get AIP, most people get DM right after. Hamilton... got AIP May 17 and still no DM.. go figure.Heck, some people from December 2018 and January 2019 are done already! It’s all just random happenstance as far as I can tell (though maybe our applications all getting warehoused in Montreal for months frees up some space in the system and benefitted those who came after us )
From the time they received application. Check on the GCKEY and ECAS for progress.Hi everyone
Do you guys have any updates on your application ??
I applied the application in August 2018 . In October 2018 I got an email to do medical exam . In March 2019 my husband received “ sponsor approval “
As he is sponsoring me . And now it’s June already and no any new updates . How do they count processing time ? From the time they received application or medical exam ? Could anyone help me with this
Thank you in advance

What do you guys think? What's the last step though?
was that called "final determination for permanent residence interview"?last step is a formality, just a few questions like when did you last enter in Canada, have you committed any crimes?
You then get your PR and can go to service Canada to have a landed SIN.
You already had the decision made on your application and the interview is just a formality to provide you with your PR in hand. As long as you don’t have committed any crimes and that you didn’t enter illegally in the country you are good to go.was that called "final determination for permanent residence interview"?
nice! good to know, thank you so much! You already had the decision made on your application and the interview is just a formality to provide you with your PR in hand. As long as you don’t have committed any crimes and that you didn’t enter illegally in the country you are good to go.
So yes, you can call this the final determination for permanent residence interview but like I said, it’s more a formality than an interview. It’s not like the relationship interview.
