Oh so how did u find out you were approved for Applicant principal approved or PR approved?
I did receive an email to check my CIC account yesterday. I did have a pdf file to download with my Accepted in Principle (AIP). I felt like checking today on my wife's sponsorship page and show DM.

They might still check your wifes background but then your wife is qualified for permanent resident. I saw another person in this forum got the same thing. But is this the update after you received notice for background check?
My wife is a new PR as of May 17, 2018. I believe that this (DM) happens after background check complete. I never received notice I just logged in one day and saw my background was in progress.
Thought u said it was yesterday or today she got Applicant Principal approved. How come is may 17?

My wife is the sponsor and I am the applicant. We meet when she was applying for her self 2 years ago.
Oh wow... thats what i figured out. It took her that long to get hers. My husband was born in here he is Canadian by birth, maybe thats different case. Guess they approve ur wifes mine as well yours. Thats very good for u guys.
