I have received letter of invitation. I am trying to fill out the forms but on't remember whether I had my wife as co-sponsor/co-signer or not. If I do a mistake, the application will be rejected. Can someone who has their spouse as co-signer let me know if there are both names on the letter of invitation or just one name?

Or if anyone knows how to find out whether I have a co-signer or not, can you please advise?

thanks,

Do you need your wife as co sponsor?

If you dont then why would you have included her in the first place?

Conversely if you do need your wife as co signer it doesnt matter whether you did not include her in the EOI you still have to include her for the application or else you wont meet requirements

It is more important that you meet the LICO requirements rather than matching what you put in the EOI

Makes sense?

Yes, I thought that first. i don't need, but when I had applied in January, I am not sure whether I had put her name or even was it required to mention that there will be a co-sponsor or not.
I know what you mean but now I have that doubt in my mind.
Also, what is the UCI or Client Id number that they want on one of the forms? this is related to citizenship.

Trusting comes with many control processes that are in place to catch fraud. Everything comes with consequences, you pay for frauds one way or another. People decide what they want to do given the result and consequences. I have done multiple audits with both CRA and BC PST for businesses, they are not fools. :)
Don’t think you can live in BC and say there are enough processes in place to catch fraud. If you get audited sure you can catch fraud but most are never audited. One of the issues are that many parts of the government are not connected. That’s how people are claiming no income and benefits yet living in nice homes and not declaring their spouses income. Same thing as CBSA not having access to the exact count of days in Canada to meet their RO when people get to a border. Hopefully the government is working on these issues.

How long IRCC takes after submitting applications?
Takes to do what ?
The whole process takes 20 to 24 months on average.
It’s all random, you have many people from the early days seeing their applications received in ECAS or in process though the number of AORs is very low. I personally think there’s some randomness to it

A little off topic but hoping we can move on.

Do you know if we could call CIC and find out whether they receive an application or not?
My Canada post status still shows "in transit" while I paid for over night services.

Same for me. I wouldn't worry about it though if you know that Canada post has delivered it and you have signature/delivery confirmation. You have to be precise with your information to be able to pull it on ecas. If the officer has made a mistake inputting your information on file, you will not be able to see it.

When folks start receiving AOR and you don't receive it in that order, that's when we need to worry :)

I have made a serious mistake completing Schedule A/Background Declaration Form for my parent, missing the end of the sentence where they ask if you have ever been refused a visitor visa, checking "NO". TVR to Canada was refused in the past back in 2010. The entire application package was mailed in May. Is there anyway to correct this, elders of this forum, please help..

I was asking about parents and grandparents. I did see the time to process the application for PGP. It says 20-24 months. I meant weather they complete it early or not?

If we give the sin in que 8 and. 16 for Co-signer, we don’t need to provide any other income related questions in the income source form right?
