Are you sure you got ITA?
if you did you won't be asking this question and getting different answers.
The answer to your question is in the letter cic sent to you about you having received ITA
Read it properly and you will have your answer.
I did read it, the problem was/is that the official handbook/instructions seem to make it vague and unclear adding some confusion. And as you can see from the responses, there isn't a consensus on the forum either, so I wasn't sure whats what.

The ITA for the record says this :

NOTE: If you had a birthday since we sent you this invitation, and the change to your age decreases your points
total, this will not cause us to refuse your application for permanent residence.

Hey Punit,
They were around 253/day. Check once more.

26 april 450+ candidates = 1511+279 = 1790
10 may 450+ candidates = 1668+317 = 1985

3350 Itas were issued on 1st may and, therefore, candidates entered in the pool between 26april and 10 may = (1985+3350)-1790 = 3545 or 253/day.

They were 240/day from 10th may to 24th may.
I was talking about (451-600) from 1st May to 10th May
Below is the explanation:
CRS on 1st May: 450
(451-600) on 1st May: 0
(451-600) on 10th May: 1668
Per day addition: 1668/9: 185
So I disagree with the logic that during the first week of any month there is a influx of candidates

Moreover there is a problem with your calculation,
The figures u are referring to are 451 or above hence candidates on 450 are not included, but don’t forget that 1st May draw also cleared big chunk of 450 candidates (90days backlog)(also see tie breaking rule), which must be 500-600 candidates at 450
So in your formula pls subtract 550 from 3350 , because 451+ cleared by 1st May draw were 3350-550= 2800
Hence 451+ entered pool from 26th apr to 10 th May = (1985+2800)-1790= 2995 means 213 per day

Guys need an expert opinion here.

My CRS score is 450 if i include my spouse, and it is 458 if I do not.

Also I do have a valid reason with proof for leaving my spouse behind. Please let me know what I should do? Should I wait for the next draw and then decide (or) can i go ahead and create the EE profile for myself as the primary without including spouse.

Kinda worried . Pls suggest.

Score is locked after ITA also on the invitation letter it clearly says point reduced due to age will not be rejected, it does not say "advised not to reject". I have been there myself and got PR recently. Birthday factor after ITA is nothing to worry, you have full 60 days to complete the application same as everyone else. There will be people to tell you that application must be rush completed before birth date to avoid rejection but that is completely false. Hope this helps w
The purest source of any information is the point of its origination.
The ministerial instruction (public policy) that talks about the points not reducing on account of post ITA birthdays makes it very clear that the officers are not bound by it while accepting or rejecting the application, but they are bound to at least consider it in the light of that public policy.
Thus, there is some discretion to the officers! The entire thing is for most of the part just advisory! But here's the catch. Even an advice from the immigration ministry carries enough weight that in practice an officer is sure bound by it. :)

What is the proof?
And if you are sure nuff of its validity, then yes, you can go ahead with an unaccompanying spouse.
Besides, it will take some time before CRS ll drop again to 450. 458 ll surely be up for grab by the end of the next month.

So this is my first post. Been in the pool since 16 May sitting at 460. My birthday is on the 15th of July, so unless I get an ITA before then my score would move to 454, which puts me in a difficult spot. Should I redo my IETLS to increase my score or wait a couple of draws?

Overall at 454, you are in safe zone and will get ITA by last quarter 2019. But if you want ITA sooner, then you are in tough spot.. there will likely be 2 draws till July 15 or maybe more, and score would be hovering above and around 460.
If you have money to play with.. give another IELTS but i suggest only after looking at CRS score in next draw.

You will be through if CIC keeps conducting regular draw at 2 weeks interval, max on 10th July.
But CIC is quite unpredictable this year. In worst case scenario, if they conduct any special draw in between, then again cutoff will increase.

Rest up to you to decide and preferably, go for it.

Thanks, I blame my predicament on WES - I would have made it in time for the 1st draw in May had they not taken their time with my ECA...

No need to reappear for IELTS again. Your score is good to go.

Your chances of getting ITA in next round are higher. If not, then you'll get it on July 10th draw for sure. Good luck!
