also received pr card in the mail today!
Ok thank you and how many days difference between your first appointment and second they sent after6 days
Agreed! I almost think it was because we were Vancouver applicants and that we had one of the longest, if not the longest wait times for landing interviews.Overall I am impressed by the speed in which we were processed. And to think if we were in any other province we probably could've landed like 2 months ago lol
Don't think the letter makes much difference. I didn't get any letter but still got my landing interview pretty fast. The category and ME status has more to do with it.Congrats for everyone who got their interview emails and PR cards!
I have a question with regards to DM,
my application was approved on May 2, 2019 (got a call and the VO approved it while I was on the call, within minutes there was a ghost update - which was again confirmed by an agent later that week)
Here I'm seeing that many are receiving an actual letter (DM). Would this be different from an approval without letter? Will this impact when I will be receiving my interview email?
As now that I see that people with April 30 DM's have received there interview emails. Should mine be coming sometime next week?
Thanks for replying!Don't think the letter makes much difference. I didn't get any letter but still got my landing interview pretty fast. The category and ME status has more to do with it.
Thank you so much for the info! I was trying to log in but kept failing... I'll call them first thing next Monday morning.Hey guys!
Just a friendly reminder for those who already got their new permanent SINumbers after their Permanent Residency, make sure you register a new online account with the CRA. I just tried logging in using my existing GCKey on https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-agency/services/e-services/e-services-individuals/account-individuals.html but it gave me an error "ERR.041" and asked me to call 1-800-959-8281. I was able to speak to an agent after 20 minutes in the queue. The agent told me that I have to re-register on my CRA online account as they received a new SIN, and then she emailed me a new security code. It took me 5 minutes to set up and I was able to see all my previous years' tax returns linked to my new SIN already.
Cheers!
