Hii everyone,
Well i have tried to apply for a pcc through their website every time i enter my emirates id number and submit the page it says emirates id not valid!!
It was very frustrating so i have done it through the mobile app and i have successfully receive the payment receipt on my email.
its been 10 days and i have checked the status online by putting the reference number and it says I HAVE TO VISIT THE NEAREST POLICE STATION TO VALIDATE MY EMIRATES ID.
I am not in UAE and i cant go.
my cousin called the customer care aswell and they are sayinf the same thing.
Need your help guys as i am running ahort of time.
Today i have downloaded an app of MOI i entered my emirates id there aswell it says not valid then i registered through my email address.
its finally registered now but when i al trying to apply the form is asking me the basic details only.
Please help me where should i enter the details to whom i have to address n all?

Am sorry to hear about the issue you have with applying through Dubai police website/App, I know that its the most easy to use and yield PCC in your email much faster than using MOI. I would just remind you to copy your personal details exactly as shown on your personal documents, most importantly in EmiratesID and your last visa counterfoil. Don't forget to select outside the country so it would be easier for the system to adjust the search query which will be triggered the moment you submit the webform. Remember, both Dubai police and MOI uses automation throughout the process in order to steamline the search of records and if you entered incorrect format and/or data into any of the fields , such error would most certainly occur.

Last tip , never try to address the PCC to any organization outside the statutory justification of the UAE, so the best and only option is to address it to the Embassy of Canada in Abu Dhabi. This is deemed acceptable by IRCC as they are well aware of the policies followed by both MOI and DP.

Kindly help me that where i have to put the se details ‘ Embassy of Canada’ as after filling the basic details its asking me a payment details.( no
option for purpose or to whom it should be addressed)

I can see that MOI have updated their website webform and separated the required field based on your physical location. That being said, you can now skip entering the addressed to field as its not required in your case and proceed with payment

It should be fine , as IRCC are well aware of this process.

How long it will take will highly depend on so many factors including but not limited to : your Emirate of residency, how long you been there , your nationality , when did you finally depart the UAE. If I have to make a guess , it should be anywhere from 2-5 days from time you submit and pay the application.

How long it will take will highly depend on so many factors including but not limited to : your Emirate of residency, how long you been there , your nationality , when did you finally depart the UAE. If I have to make a guess , it should be anywhere from 2-5 days from time you submit and pay the application.

I have applied through MOI application.
i dint receive any acknowledgement email yet.
will they directly send pcc on my email without any receipt?

Just now i opened an app and tried to track it and there was an attachment i believe thats my Certificate
could you please confirm is this is a way to obtain it now.

Check on your spam folder, it will be there as well. It could also be a server error and the email never was sent.

Anyway if you can find it on your app then it means your certificate is approved and you can download it. It will be saved on your PC as a JPG file , so make sure to convert it to PDF to comply with IRCC requirements.

Its not address to any one nor IRCC neither canada embassy.
IRCC accept this right they wont mind?

I was in the UAE from 2003- 2009 for university, never 6 months in a row. On 28th May 2009, I left the UAE only to return for 20 days in July 2009 (I was still on the student / residence visa). I exited UAE on July 24th 2009 and requested the university to cancel my visa a few weeks later.

Asked the university about the exact cancellation date - they said they don't hold records beyond 3 years for any graduated student.

Will I still need the UAE PCC? In my case its the non EID procedure that involves fingerprinting and what not.

You just mentioned something about never being in the UAE for six months in a row. So here you go , You dont need PCC from the UAE. It doesn't matter if you stayed more than six months in the past 10 years collectively , as long as it didn't happen in a sequence, IRCC is pretty clear about it.

And just to be sure, the eAPR webform goes through your input in personal , travel and address histories and calculate if you need an PCC from a specific country. So if you know you need one for your country of residence and you see a second one , you should be positive that it's for the UAE.

If the online webform didnt allow you to enter 'address to' , then it should work perfectly fine.

To be sure you cover your case, draft up an LOE and place it before the PCC itself in a single PDF file , include an explanation of how you got the PCC and that the current version of the webform doesn't allow you to address any organization. you can also include a link to verify the PCC itself in your LOE, this is what IRCC is supposed to use to verify that what you provided is authentic: https://portal.moi.gov.ae/eservices/PublicServices/CertificateClearanceInquiry.aspx?Culture=en

I used to live in UAE for around 4-5 years and now i am in India. I have the emirates ID details but when i try to apply through the Dubai Police site, finger print copies are being asked. Is it compulsory?

Mate, you need passport page, Emirates is and visa stamped page. Try dubai police web or app.
