Yes if it a government school then it is considered as govt position.
They way most of the world (like India) treat Govt Position and the way they treat in Canada is not necessarily the same. There can be debate whether "public or civil servant" at any level of Govt or Agencies are the same as the Govt jobs back home.

I said that becuase I have been flling my parents forms alwaysthe same way. They were govt teachers as well. But it looks like you have the exact and right answer to everything. So you go ahead and guide everyone.

If you applied for your wife's PR after becoming PR or citizen then she is considered sponsored otherwise she is not.
my question was incorrect as spouse is already counted in family size (along with kids). Please ignore my question.

You have to at least wait and see what the program will look like next year. Assume there will be changes plus with an election there could be huge changes.

If you answered “yes”, indicate any government positions you have held in the past such as:

  • Civil servant;
  • Judge;
  • Police officer;
  • Employee in a security organization;
  • Etc.
Include:

  • the name of the country and the level of jurisdiction (examples: national, regional or municipal),
  • the name of the department or the branch you worked for, and
  • activities and/or positions that you held.
It seems my parents might come in ETC. but I doubt if they were part of decision making authority .

hopefully!! coz this year is sooo frustrating! so we're having this kind of thoughts. Wondering if it's gonna be worthy or not hiring an immigration lawyer.

Quick Question

There is 9 digit ID at the bottom of each page of IMM1344 and IMM008 . Both form needs validation and the 9 digit ID changes after ever save and validation .

Problem is the signature page 7 has different ID now as it was sent across to India and I got back today .
Shall I scan the recent one and get the it signed again for the 9 digit ID to be matched.??

Hi all,

I sent in my application on Friday and it was received June 10th (Monday) morning as I could see from tracking Canada Post.
What are the timelines for AOR? Does it take a few weeks?
Can I see status in some other online form?

Thanks

I have my lawyer ready to fight for me if needed. It is always gonna be worth it when you need it.

If you speak to all the successful businessmen they will tell you they hire the professionals and they pay well.

You get what you pay for. If it is important enough to you wont leave it to an amateur.

People often fall into problems because they THINK they know how to do everything themselves. Sometimes it works out. But other times you pay way more to fix those mistakes and mishaps.

I have never heard anyone try to perform surgery on themselves or their family members even if you give them the textbook and surgical atlas which lays out the steps. Why? Cos they won't risk it if they can afford not to.

So it's a personal choice. But you reap what you sow. There already has been a group who have benefited for hiring their lawyers to fight for them.

Just my opinion. I do think filling PGP forms is fairly simple and with the help of members here it makes it even easier. So you can do it yourself.
