The guide said there should not be any gap in any history, be it travel, education or PA's address.

I don't think I gave any wrong information. If the person weas employed for the last 10 years without any unemplyement period then why would you mention the travelling part in this. That will overlap the same period. Rest everyone use your own judgement, it depends how you look at it.

Need urgent help!

I got an email yesterday r/t "conformation of Permanent Residence" for my parents and they have to submit their passports within 30 days either in India or in Canada. My parents are currently visiting Canada and will be going back to India on July 31, 2019.

The cic letter states that "if you and all the accompanying dependents are currently in Canada and plan to be in Canada for at least three months, you may submit your passports to the case processing center- Ottawa." Does this mean that my parents have to stay in Canada for 3 months if they submit their passports in Canada or they can go back to India is they happen to receive their passports within 20 or 30 days ???

It says three months as that is the time which CiC may take to stamp and send your passport back. So if your parents are surely going back in July then wait for their return and submit passports in India but if they can extend stay until PPs are back with Visa stamping then you can submit here.

A lot of things are based on best practice so may change based on person to person. In immigration matters, it is always better to provide as much as detailed information you can. I always prefer to provide all the informations e.g. even if any stay is more than 24 hours out of home country, I will mention that in the form. Or if I was not working for one day between job switch/change, I will add that one day as not working. It always worked for me in all my past immigration cases and never had any clarification question asked or any further document request from CiC.

PR part shows in process as well, but when I clicked in there is no detail about it.

in the financial evaluation form while specifying the gross income for this year 2019-01-01 to present ...should this be an overall income as stated in employment letter or do we have to calculate it individually from Jan 2019 to June 2019 and write it......

Yes. They do. Typically it takes 4-6 weeks. But considering the volume of applications, it might be little longer as well.
If you have mentioned your email address, you will receive a pdf on your email saying your application is received and it is complete.

In my parents’ PR app, ECAS only shows their home address, but no mailing address.

I have submitted a representative form, and also in their pr application, put my address as their mailing address.

Should I be worried and contact them since ECAS is not showing this information?
