Also is it worth emailing CPC ottawa directly..as webform is pretty useless.
Did anyone try that?..Do they even care to reply?
I emailed Ottawa directly.. Didn't help.. An even more generic response.. Here's what it said :

Well that’s interesting, just received a response to my CSE. So it looks like my medicals are expired and IRCC is going to make a decision on extending vs re-medical.

You will find below useful information that we hope will help understand the process and current status of your application for permanent residence:

  • Your file was transferred to a visa office,
    • you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.
  • The background verifications are currently valid.
  • The medical examination results on file are expired and are currently being reassed.
IRCC is committed to reviewing most permanent resident applications submitted online within a 6-month time frame. Although the delay may vary, rest assured that we are making the necessary efforts to finalize your application within established processing times.
Any idea what determines whether your medicals are extended or you are asked to retake them?

ADR request was on 9th Jan and submitted the next day. It was a rep. form
It still shows " we are the reviewing the additional document provided".
Got re-medical request last week.. but adr still shows the same..

What does this mean?
It's probably not updated.

My ADR status for Schedule A showed "we are reviewing documents provided" for 4 months until I got the RPRF request

Sithlord, what adr did you get for employment proof? What was missing
They asked additional proof of employment. I guess the case analyst was not satisfied with just my work experience letter.

I later submitted offer letter, relieving letter, updated experience letter, salary certificate and 6 months pay slips

So it means all items are truly approved, and local VO will send you PPR very soon.
The local VO is going to determine whether or not he needs re-meds. Maybe that's why there was silence for two weeks since his case was transferred to local VO.

It generally takes 2 weeks to find any progress on cases after they are transferred to another VO, or at least that's what I've heard.

There are quite a few who received this same response from Ottawa during the last 2 weeks. Makes me wonder just how many cases are in queue for review? So does this mean Ottawa is getting ready to dispatch a big PPR batch soon?

I hope so too. Kinda really hoping that my application is not transferred to Vancouver VO though and that they’re not going to give me an interview. Otherwise it’ll be another 3 month before I hear anything which will bring my timeline to over a year...

Nah, I don't think it will go that long.

You are definitely getting a big update by next week :)
