I’m about to get my PR. But during the interview they asked me if I have a child and I said yes. But the thing is I didn’t include her in my application because she is settled in US. She is US citizen already which I didn’t really bother Bec she can visit me anytime. So they didn’t give my PR to me that day. They told me to submit her information just in case in the future that I decided to get her here in Canada. Do you think they will approve my PR again? I need an answer for this and please I wanna know if I have same situation with other people and what did they do? I didn’t really include her because she comes visit me in a summer. I would appreciate your answers. I am fucked up right now!!

You can reapply as long as you weren't given a misrepresentation ban.

Even if she is settled in the US, you were still required to include her in your application.

It just happened today. What about the money that I paid and if reapply should I pay the same amount that I paid before?

You'll get the Right of Permanent Resident Fee back but nothing else. You'll have to pay all of the rest of the fees again.

Does anyone here have the same situation like I do please give me some advice of what to do.

Every case is different. Honestly, we could say, oh yes it's 75% sure you will get accepted, but the simple answer is we can't. Stop stressing, get your application in and wait for the result.

Should I contact a lawyer about this?
How old is your child and is she married or in a common-law relationship with anyone? These are important questions...

She’s 15 and living in US. She’s currently waiting for her US citizenship. The reason why I don’t really bother at all to put her in my application Bec she can come and go in Canada for a visit. She is pretty much settled with her studies in US that’s why I don’t want to ruin it. She comes here for a visit in summer only. And the officer told me to submit my daughter’s information which is not a problem with her father. My only worries now is if they still give me PR again.
