My friend Ar july 2018 got his medical request 1 week ago and they ask him for biometrics also , he is in canada he didnt find any office to do the biometrics and cic told him he must leave canada to do the fingerprint because they dont have any offices in canada , its really strange is there any similar cases

That’s not true!! There are biometrics office in every province of Canada. Please check the link to find the closest one:

My friend did her biometrics from Toronto, she was in Canada. It got accepted and she’s already a PR now
Yes true the problem is he went to the office in st johns airport and he showed his letter , they told him they need a direct request from cic to take his biometrics. This is really crasy
That’s crazy, then CIC should be able to help him on that. The letter from CIC requesting Biometrics should be enough to get biometrics done. He needs to contact CIC finding him alternative solution. This is crazy

Did you call them and they told you it’s in process or you are seeing it in your account ?

When I called them, the cic agent told me that your eligibility was passed this is only update I see ( which I already knew last week itself). She doesn't know other than this why did I get application/profile updated...... I do confirmed that my application is in nova Scotia office Anyone has idea why did I get application/profile updated

I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received Nov 6, 2017. It is at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney.
Standard processing time is 19 months. This means 80% of routine applications are completed within that time frame, while 20% take longer.
Eligibility and criminality passed.
Security checks were initiated May 14, 2019 and security data upload on May 17th are in progress. They cannot be expedited and timelines are not available.
Medicals are valid until Apr 14, 2020.
