everyone was just overly worried about new forms, they have to update the form because of legislation on the gender (X is now allowed as a legal gender). They will not reject simply because you are using an older form, they may return it and ask you to send in updated one but not reject totally. If you look at last year thread not a single person got completely rejected due to old form, missing docs etc, some even missing signature but they only send a request to resubmit and not completely return the whole file
IMM 0008 has an older version(11-2018) available online now, but last month they had 02-2019 version.... Are you sure that you are sending an updated version?

Regarding the 7,000 extra numbers, that was not a random things. It was based on the stats they had in last three years, where in some cases they have to do three rounds of lottery to get the 20,000 applications. They know many people in the first 20,000 will not submit the applications, will not qualify etc.

tbh, if it was me i'd use the same date on everything, even though u are mailing stuff there and back.
It's to add Gender X. Any form have Male/Female will be updated. Their will be no other changes in any of this form I believe.

I have a question regarding IMM576. I am sponsoring my mother. My brother ( age 21 ) is already here in Canada with me. My father passed away in 2017.
1. Do I need to count my father in family size for question 14 on imm576. Right now i Just put the family size 2 for 2016, 2017 and 2018.
2. Also, Do I need to add my fathers death certificate ?
3. In 2018, I got injured at job and was off work for 1 week. but I got paid by WSIB. Not sure where to add that income.

1- i'd count him in 2016 and 2017
2- u don't have to, but it is a great idea to send it as they will most likely ask for it later
3- use line 150 from ur NOA
ur bro is a resident here or is he just visiting?
