Hello everyone,
First of all thank you for reading this post.
This thread is about my brother who lives in Morocco and suffers from asperger syndrom, he is 19 y.o now, and is going to take his "baccalaureat" (last high school year) next year. This thread is destined to whom knows about autism foreigners who have seeked immigration to Canada.
Let me give you an overview of the situation:
I am a software engineer, I live in Paris since a couple of years and I have some job opportunities in Canada, Montreal mainly, I haven't started any immigration process yet because I want to make sure there is a way I can get my brother to Montreal for a training or post baccalaureat degree adapted to his autism.
If we suppose that I have taken a job opportunity there and completed the immigration process, do you know if there is a specific process for him so that I become his warrantor ?
Do you have any advice about facilities, educational paths, trainings etc... adapted to an asperger there in Montreal ? although he is taking his baccalaureat on the economy field, I am not sure if he could be very successful on long studies, so I am a bit thinking about a craft profession... Do you know what is the trend on autist professions in Canada, what is recommended there ?
Thanks a lot,
MockingJay
