Hello everyone,
First of all thank you for reading this post.
This thread is about my brother who lives in Morocco and suffers from asperger syndrom, he is 19 y.o now, and is going to take his "baccalaureat" (last high school year) next year. This thread is destined to whom knows about autism foreigners who have seeked immigration to Canada.
Let me give you an overview of the situation:
I am a software engineer, I live in Paris since a couple of years and I have some job opportunities in Canada, Montreal mainly, I haven't started any immigration process yet because I want to make sure there is a way I can get my brother to Montreal for a training or post baccalaureat degree adapted to his autism.
If we suppose that I have taken a job opportunity there and completed the immigration process, do you know if there is a specific process for him so that I become his warrantor ?
Do you have any advice about facilities, educational paths, trainings etc... adapted to an asperger there in Montreal ? although he is taking his baccalaureat on the economy field, I am not sure if he could be very successful on long studies, so I am a bit thinking about a craft profession... Do you know what is the trend on autist professions in Canada, what is recommended there ?

Thanks a lot,
MockingJay

There is no way to sponsor your brother. The only way would be to sponsor your parents and make him their dependent but his medical needs might rule out their application

From your narrative, I believe that you currently have no immigration status in Canada. If that's the case, it's going to be almost impossible to qualify to apply for your parents immigration before your brother ceases to qualify as a dependent child.

If, in fact, you are already a PR or citizen, you would still not meet the financial requirements criteria for parental sponsorship if you have been outside Canada for the last two years.

As stated by @canuck78, you have no other options for bringing a sibling to Canada with you. It's doubtful that he could apply to immigrate on his own merit at this point in time. A study permit would be his only option, and that's up to him to qualify and apply for.
