Hi friends,

I married in Oct 2018 and have no kid, can I use my spouse (co-sponsor) income for 2016 & 2017 together with my 2016-2017 income to sponsor my mum and dad? What is family size should I put for 2016-2018?

Thanks,

Hi, would you please advise how did you calculate the family size when link it to the online account? Does it include the sponsor and co-singer, or it only means the principal applicant and the dependent? Thank you.

Hi frndz. Two hour back booked package by canada post priority and can't track it. The message says we can not find parcel associated with this no. So how much time required to appear on system.
The mail person is not waiting for your package so he/she can drive it the main depot right away. The post office has one or two pick-up times per day. Be patient people this is a long process:)

What if I sponsored my mom and dad but my dad doesn't want to come, what will happen in that case ?
You keep asking the same question but the answer hasn’t changed. You have to sponsor both parents if they are alive and not divorced. Your father can be listed as non-accompanying and doesn’t have to come to Canada but he has to pass the medical.

express post gives u a signature regardless.
i heard people saying they had to pay an extra buck or two but every time i send anything express post i get a signature.
I have done express post without a signature before. This isn’t a real P.O. Box. There are people receiving mail there. Some courier companies won’t send to P.O. Boxes because there is no one to sign for the package.

The reason what confused me was someone said that each document in the checklist needs to be filled out for my dad. e.g currently I have only filled out the documents for both mom and dad
Schedule A : Background and declaration IMM 5669
Additional family information IMM 5406

In this case I am just assuming my mom as principal applicant and my dad as dependent. And I only have one form filled out for this one with my mom as principal applicant.
Application to sponsor , sponsorship agreement and undertaking (IMM1344)

Also since he is non-accompanying, I am suppose to also pay for the sponsorship fee which is around 550 * 2 or just 550 since my mom will get PR .

he will be non-accompanied and you dont need to pay for him but both of them should pass medical
When you say not pay for him , what do you mean ? I still need to pay for the sponsorship fee ? Here is the breakdown of what I am actually going to pay for mom and my dad who is not planning to come to Canada.

Sponsor your parent or grandparent (without the right of permanent residence fee)
550
+
Include the spouse or partner of your parent or grandparent (without the right of permanent residence fee)
550
+
Biometrics Fees
170

Hi guys... some advise needed:

My father's age was incorrectly noted in his Marriage certificate. It is not possible to change it. However, his date of birth is correct in his passport and national ID card which we are also submitting. Do I need to provide an affidavit to certify that an error was made in marriage certificate? Or just leave it as is?

Let me know your advice. Thanks.

Do an affidavit just to be on the safe side.
