Please I need help,My girl friend in Canada is sending me an invite to apply for a TRV to come to Canada for two weeks,I believe I have all the required documents but Visas officers are unpredictable so we have a plan B that if i don’t get approved for TRV,She will go ahead and petition for a conjugal partner sponsorship for me..Do I have to state my purpose of Visit is to visit fiancé,Because if I say friend ,Then I believe that will mean I have to wait for a year before I can be sponsored as conjugal ,or will I still be able to apply as conjugal if I get denied a TRV with purpose of travel is to see friend .please I need help with this question .Thank you

Your story is confusing. If she is your fiance, this means you plan to get married. If you are able to get married, then you do not qualify for conjugal. If the TRV is refused, then she needs to travel to your country, get married there and then sponsor you for PR. Conjugal isn't an option unless there is more to this story you are not sharing.

I mean we have been together for a year but we have not lived together. We are kind of emotionally attached but we are not ready to get married yet because we have not been able to live together yet.So if she decides to send me an invitation to apply for a TRV should I just say she is my friend or I should say she is my fiancée..That is what I mean.
