Hey I know this question is for @cansha but someone on the Whatsapp group has also had an issue like this an ultimately I think it is based on your cuntry of citizenship. The person was in canada and had to travel back home o get his fingerprints and so to answer your question yes, Isomeone has had that issue before

Yes I guess you are right. Had a discussion with a consultant and he advised that my dependant has to leave the country for this.

Can you raise a CSE with IRCC and re-check if this is accurate? It might be an error because I have heard of people being asked to leave and get biometrics done, but not sure if they had it already done before being requested again?

I was requested an RCMP check though.

Edit: Looks like this has happened to people

I was advised that we leave the country to have the biometrics done. My worry was that they waited for over 8months to let me know. So sad

Another thing is the biometrics was requested for only my dependent and not myself. Now, was this an oversight or will they wait for another time before requesting for mine?
Or should I just do mine as well.

Forgot to mention my country of citizenship is Nigeria. I just learnt that US VAC offices might not do the biometrics for us with a US visitor visa. Our other option is Mexico or going back to Nigeria.

This is strange tho for a Nigerian cos I am also Nigerian and you are the first I am hearing being asked to do this. Goodluck brother and we hope it all turns out well

I don’t think there are even VAC offices in the US. I did biometrics in a USCIS office

I am surprised as well. But it’s Montreal right? Nothing is normal with that VO

I just got a funny answer to CSE I ve sent lastweek.

I specifically wrote that few agents over the phone confirmed that the applications was approved on April 11 and I asked when my interview is going to be scheduled.

THE ANSWER WAS:
We verified the information you provided and can confirm that the application is still in process.

If you do not receive more information by July 11, 2019, we invite you to contact us again by using theIRCC Web form available on our website.

NOW IM REALLY LOSING MY MIND. Is it possible that the agents were wrong? Or it's more likely that CSE replay is wrong?

Anyone had similar experience?
