It seems WES has made the scrutiny very stringent for Indian applicants
Not only for Indian people but also for other Asian countries. They may evaluate quickly the diplomas from Europe and USA, but still it's just an assumption.

Some people are very (un) lucky ...give IELTS..get a decent score..wait for WES for months together..loose 5 points due to their birthday..and then sit at 449 and wait for their turn..
All this while they know that they deserved a 454 instead..
You know.... thats exactly my case.... i would have been on 454 if I have got WES on time... I started my process in November 2018... cleared IELTS in Feb in first attempt..... but then lost 5 points in March due to birthday..... and now sitting at 449...

Wow..so u conveniently took an exception to your own country. You belong to which galaxy?

CRS: 461
Work Permit expiring on 6th June. A lot at stake for today's draw. Fingers Crossed!
All the best to everyone!
You will make it for sure! get the documents ready

Good luck my friend, hope yours will come sooner than expected. You deserve a big one.
Thank you!! Everyone's eyes are on today's draw. Not surprisingly, we all know cut-off will be higher this time, but the most interesting part is to see the number of invites this time. Hopefully, CIC will add good amount of ITA's to today's draw and brings ray of hope in upcoming draws!

every wednesday i tell myself that i'll keep myself busy and not check this thread , but here i am reading every comment and going up and down the pages for hours now hahahaha!

Umm, if I remember correctly, there was a notification from WES, saying they are going to look more closely at the credentials of Indian (or Asian, don't remember exactly) due to some instances of forgery of documents.

All the senior folks in the group,

I am confused. Pls suggest what should be the best course of action.
I created the EE profile on 22nd April 2019. Score 449

IELTS- 8.5, 8.5, 7.0,7.5 (13th Oct'18)-- if I attempt again and score a 7.5 in writing, my score increases 3 points
ECA- Masters Rcvd after a wait of 5 months from WES on 22nd April
Experience- 10+yrs
NOC- 2173
Age- 35 yrs

Spouse
IELTS 9, 7.5,6.5, 7.5
ECA Masters
Experience 10+ yrs
NOC 2173

Shall I try for IELTS again and try to increase the score by 3 points? Or shall I be patient.

P.S. my b'day is in March so that's not a worry..
Wait for next 2-3 draws (1 month). Hopefully with increased ITAs you will get after that.
