Yeah, I guess all of south american applications are going there too. My application is there since November/2018, and so far, just the AOR2 on January 2019.
36 days for the 12 month "deadline", so I hoping to hear something good from there soonish

I'm sponsoring my Brazilian wife.
Aug. 2 2018- Application received
Dec.19 2018-AOR (Ridiculous. This was 20 weeks)
Dec.21 2018- SA
Jan.4 2019- Medical request
Jan.15 2019- Passed medical
Jan.28 2019- Application forwarded to Mexico City VO

I'm a bit behind you in Mex. Are you confident of success by June 27?

Is there anyone that change their name after their application was submitted??
I did , but only my Ontario ID , not changing passport until it’s ready to expire lol. I did not inform cic, and I use the name from my passport with all correspondence as that’s what they have .

I changed my name after my application was submittee last year to my husband married name and we inform CIC but i dont see they change it, now i am worried if they will deny my visa because my passport have my married surname and my correspondence have my maiden name,
Can you advise me on this?

I can’t really advise , but if you updated them with your married name and provided the copy of the new passport , that should be good . As for the legality’s around it I can’t advise , however I don’t think a visa is denied over a name change

I changed mine sent in a copy of my passport and there was no issue. Information generally wont change as they record what was submitted at the time of application. Its not an issue

So do we need to send in a copy of a same name affidavit to the visa office along with the consent forms?
Or just use my married name?

Not holding my breath on this thing anymore... But it seems that they moved to June applications already. On the June 2018 thread two ppl from the first week of May just got their PPR.
