Someone please answer

Is it hard to get the spouse after I land if I apply as spouse not accompanying?

I get 459 points if I apply like that.
You can apply but you should give some strong arguments to convince immigration officer.

Hello guys,
I initially took an appointment for medicals this Saturday since I was expecting my ITA yesterday. Since yesterday was for FST, I did not receive the ITA.

I am thinking of leaving my appointment running because I will be traveling next week for 15 days and I’m afraid that the doctors would not be available when I come back because I come back on an Islamic holiday and would be a long holiday here where I live.

I am expecting ITA in the next draw that will probably take place next Wednesday as I have a high score. Will they accept the tests?

While I know everyone recommends having them close to the submission date, but I have all my documents ready and will be submitting anyway by the 10th of June. I also know that I would get a visa validity up until 1 year post medical test results but I’m planning to land as soon as I get my PR anyway.

Has anyone ever done it? Did they accept your results?
You can do your medical test beforehand. No issue. Just check with your physician if they can do it without ita letter.

Guys..little off-topic but thought of asking.
Is it true that more and more professionals are now preferring Australia and New Zealand instead of Canada due to the harsh weather?

Only that few of my friends are moving to Aus and NZ instead of Canada despite being eligible for express entry!
That's good. Let them move to Australia and NZ. Harsh weather does exist in Canada, be prepared for that.

I just hope I get invited before moving to France! What would happen if the PPR is issued and I am working in a different country?

But if there is no increase, why is such a large penalty bring levied?
There is a chance that on taking re-test, one might get low band score in a different module than the one he/got got in the previous attempt.
There are actually people who prefer to take risk of 9k instead of 13k and sit in all exams all over again.

Like I said, if one is certain about the band score and is sure that he/she did well than what got, it is a decent bargain.

@13nitinsharma could you please add me to the internal candidate list. Current CRS 460.

Very nervously awaiting next draw, have birthday in July that will drop to 455 :(
Sure, will do it tomorrow.

You’re safe buddy and surely get your ITA on coming Wednesday. Applicants like me with 450 score are stuck since Jan 30 so we’re there to take your nervousness this time too. You should relax and start collecting your documents!

You get your PPR and by using it you will contact given embassy in order to ask the relocation of the visa office. They wil do it within 5-10 days for you.

As per my knowledge, the re-evaluation cost is returned to the applicants if there is change in the band. (Pls correct if wrong)
So if you're certain of your score, its a decent bargain.
Yaa that's correct. It is returned if your score improves.

Need some input, will declining an invite will change the profile creating date or will we keep the original creation date ?
