Some hard facts and moment of truth -
1. 99% chances CRS will be more than 450 for next two draws (As per experts analysis with real published data)
2. My birthday on 10th July - 4 possible predicted draws left for me to make it.

Conclusion - Chances of getting ITA before birthday are less than 1% :(
Plan B - Going solo with CRS 464 after next 2 draws, get PR and sponsor wife.
Now good people of this forum, please give me your honest opinions about my plan B.

Plan B work and ask your wife to increase her score...even 451 is much better than 450 now.

It will take long time for her to become PR, you need to become PR (6 months) and apply for her again, the whole thing may take up to 1 year.

If your wife can increase her ielts or anything..everything will be simpler.

Vacation part is coming for most of the government workers but I guess they will increase # of itas after during or after vacation period to get the targeted permanent residents. For now, only thing you can do is to wait and see what kind of pathway CIC will be going to take.
Hopefully they will increase the draw count

Hi,
I need some guidance. I wrote my IELTS on 5th May and got the below score:
L 9, R 9, W 6.5, S 8
Writing the the only thing pulling me back. I could have jumped to 456 from 447 if I could have scored 7.5 on writing. On my last attempt I scored 7.5 in writing but other sections needed improvement and so I could manage only 447.
If someone can help me out on my writing, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you!

If you're confident, you did well in the exam. Go for re-evaluation! You could be benefitted from it.

@Nsidhu This definitely helps! Thanks! Also, you made it with ietls as in? You already got ITA with single applicant? What was your CRS score with and without partner?
No i just submitted on may 11.
My score with spouse 455
If i add his ECA ( due by the end of june) then 463
Solo 480
However, I already have ainp and my federal is due in March with spouse. But i was taking this fastest route which I don't know if not in one or two draws then i will take out the file.

Guys..little off-topic but thought of asking.
Is it true that more and more professionals are now preferring Australia and New Zealand instead of Canada due to the harsh weather?

Only that few of my friends are moving to Aus and NZ instead of Canada despite being eligible for express entry!

What you can do is you can count your Hours. If you finished 1590 hours experience by August 31st you can make your edit in your profile and than in restoration time you can just wait for ITA. Once you receive ITA you submit all documents and you will be ok.
I don't quite get what you mean? I worked a permanent full time job, 37.5 hours a week.

This reevaluation cost is seriously insane. Who charges 80 percent of the test fees as reevaluation fees?

Both IDP and BC are busy making money and CIC is watching.
As per my knowledge, the re-evaluation cost is returned to the applicants if there is change in the band. (Pls correct if wrong)
So if you're certain of your score, its a decent bargain.
