Visitor record extension rejected - asked to leave CAN immediately

Hi there, I hope you are all doing well. Let's please cut to the chase:

My visitor record expired on 6th February and I applied for an extension on 6th February online.
10 days later I received an answer saying it got rejected as I didn't answer a point truthfully. My mistake was, I just put the amount on my bank account as a screenshot (4000$), however, you couldn't see the name and the proof this money actually belongs to me. This is what Immigration Canada made them say NO to my extension.
So, on 16th February I got the refusal notice. As I was reading on their website, FROM the refusal notice I have 90 days time for a restoration, is that correct? I also didn't get the stated warning from this centre in Cebreville or so.

My questions now:
Is it worth it applying for restoration? (as I do have 3 more days, right?)
If I apply for restoration, how long can I stay here? Until I get a final answer saying yes/no?

Please help me guys as I'm mentally at a breakdown point..

Thank you so much in advance!!

If you apply for restoration, you can stay in Canada until a decision is made in your application.

I'm confused why you are at a breadown point. You received the refusal almost three months ago and have done nothing about it - so this situation is of your own doing. Generally speaking, if you want to apply for restoration, you should be doing it soon after the refusal rather than waiting until the end of the 90 day period. What is your reason for applying for restoration and wanting to remain in Canada longer? How much in funds can you show to fund an extended stay?

What have you been doing since the refusal? Why are you visiting Canada and how long have you been here?
I have been travelling and living in another city and when I came back a week ago I found out about the notice. I was shocked because I didn't know if I can still apply for restoration.. I am here with my girlfriend (she has a valid visa until end of August) and I basically just want to stay another month with her and travel to her home country to live there. I have been staying here almost 2 years

If you have been visiting Canada for 2 years the refusal should not be a surprise. You were quite lucky to have been granted so many extensions.

Apply for restoration. You want to avoid issues returning to Canada in the future. That's the better option than simply continuing to overstay.

Thank you so much for the answer. I just came back a week ago seeing the letter of refusal. I know it's my own doing and how do you say you always learn from your mistakes, sometimes the hard way.
My funds are about 7000$, I just need to stay until middle of June (one more month) so my girlfriend and I can leave Canada together at the same time. Just this situation makes it harder for us.. thank you so much for answering!

Just another question, I do can apply for restoration, right? Because it's from the refusal notice and not the expiry date but I am so confused right now as I came basically from my honeymoon back to the harsh reality

So you left the country? Please elaborate.

Think you need to be prepared for your restoration to be refused. You still need to apply so you aren’t recorded as overstaying.
That's what I'm also thinking that they will refuse it. But that's okay as long as I can stay another 2 or 3 weeks here.

But my slight little concern is, visa expired 6th February, then I was on implied status waiting for an answer, then the refusal notice on 16th February. So the 90 days count from refusal notice (16th Feb), right? Thanks a lot. I really appreciate it

You need to count from February 6th.
