Just one formmy husband is a co-signer. Do we complete 2 separate Income Sources For Sponsorship Form or just the one form with both of our information on it?
I also need the answer to this question. I have done reading on this thread and done search of forums. There are two opinions, some saying it should be part of travel history and should be provided when demanded, some saying it should be part of personal history. Some say it depends on duration of travel..Hi guys,
On the form 5669, theres a question asking for principle applicant's employment history. It says if not employed then provide something else like traveling, retired etc.
My parents were retired for the past 10 years, so shoukd I still list the travel history in that table? Or just one line as retired?
Appreciate your help. I'm confused as some people are talking aboutvtravel history.
It means you are the only 1 and sponsoring your 1 parent only.absolutely all the way. Added 2 on all years.
Only one imm1344 and imm0008Hello Gyus,
I’m preparing application package for my parents, I’ve a few of questions:
- Do I fill separate “Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking” (IMM 1344) form for my mother and father? My father is the principle applicant and my mother is dependent.
- same question regarding “Generic Application Form for Canada” (IMM 0008); separate forms for my parents or just one?
Help is highly appreciated.
Thanks!!

Imm0008 only principal applicantThanks!
So, my father has to sign both the forms since he is is the principal applicant. Does my mother (his dependant) sign on any of these (IMM 1344 or IMM 0008) forms?
No, that’s not right. The burden to the healthy system will be assessed during the medical exam. For this person’s care to be considered a burden, it has to be assessed as more than $19,812 per year (2018 threshold). You can appeal if you find their assessment is incorrect. That’s the case because no documents are required to prove he is no burden for the country and the application will be rejected. Thus, we won’t have the chance to provide the necessary documents to support his dependence that are already required for the 2nd round. Do I get it right? Thank you
