PR+OWP Application

Hi Guys,

We're ready to mail my PR application + open work permit. On the website it says two different addresses for PR application and OWP application.

The OWP application doesn't go with the PR application to the same address right?

The way I understood it is that the PR application goes to Mississauga ON and the OWP application goes to Edmonton, AB.

Please help me guys.

The OWP is submitted with the PR app.

If you are sending in one package it's to the same address. Also it is a different address for the whole package if you use a courier.

They go together and make sure you have paid all the fees for the OWP. Should amount to $255

Hopefully someone can help me out.
Sponsorship application received March 8 and AOR on May 10. It took almost 55 days to get aor from IRCC. I’m PR and my wife is on post graduation work Permit, which is going to expire September last week 2019 ( 4 more months). We didn’t think about submitting open work Permit while we send our application package. Now We’re worried about her status in Canada and what is going to happen after September. So my question is
1) can I add/apply open work Permit now with my sponsorship application even though we have received AOR from IRCC.
2) or should we apply for visitors visa to stay and work in Canada while my application in progress OR
3) try LMIA (closed work Permit) from current employer.

1. If you applied inland, yes, she can submit an OWP app.

2. If she wants to keep working, she needs to apply for an OWP.

3. Unless she is highly skilled, there is pretty much no chance of getting an LMIA.

Where do we sent it ? Edmonton or Mississauga? Paper application or apply via mycic online?
