Immediate Roadside Prohibition (IRP) effects on immigration

It all depends on the severity of your IRP. Mine was 90 days so I was forced to attend the class which is 16 hours of classes over 4 seperate days. No interlock though

Immediate Roadside Prohibition (IRP) effects on immigration

Yeah I've left and re-entered since it happened and there's been no mention of it. Even with the massive financial repercussions, I still consider myself lucky I wasn't criminally charged and booted out of the country! Even as a PR, if you are convicted of a DUI, you can have your status...

Immediate Roadside Prohibition (IRP) effects on immigration

Yeah no worries ask me whatever you like. I had tons of questions too. I had a BC license yeah. I traded in my UK one for a class 5 here. They said I have 3 years to complete the course and reinstate it otherwise I'd have to go through their entire learner program.

Immediate Roadside Prohibition (IRP) effects on immigration

From what I've heard from people in the course, if you can pay off your fines and enrol in the course within 45 days, they will reinstate your license on the condition that you complete the program. I guess you'd have to take proof to to the licensing authority that you've enrolled. I didn't...

MSP sign up in common-law relationship

I just became a PR and wondering if I need to sign up for my own MSP account or do we just have to change my partner's to add me? What is the benefit of being on the same account aside from the low income benefits? Is it mandatory to have connected accounts or can I just go ahead and sign up on...

    MSP waiting period

I've never looked in to it as I thought MSP wasn't available to non-permanent residents. I'm sure I was eligible for it, I just never applied. I guess that probably means I have to wait.

    MSP waiting period

I just landed as an inland permanent resident. I have been in Canada now for 3 years on a combination of work and visitor permits. My question is, will I have to wait 3 months for MSP coverage given that I could've applied for it at any time before now?
