We are still waiting.. Background check has been going on for a couple of months now, we received a letter requesting additional info of my husband's business back home on April 17th and nothing since then, hope to hear good news soon let's hang in there

I dont think we can apply for ohip untill we have COPR in hands

Not sure though. Best way google or call ask service Ontario helpdesk

You can apply for OHIP with OWP as long as you secure a full time job then all you need is a employment letter with specific details that can be found if you check the Service Ontario website.

Yes u can. Just show them ur AIP poof of address and passport... i just did mine yesterday and they will give u paper and covered after 2months... i went to their main office not in branch some of their branches not accepting it...
