I applied for trv on 24th April from inside Canada . My visa get approved today. When can I expect my passport?

My TRV application from inside Canada so far:
Applied: May 2nd
Passport request: May 3rd
Passport delivered to CIC: May 6th

I have an upcoming flight on the 23rd, too. Hope I will get my passport back before then.

From my past experience, it usually takes them 4-5 days after receiving the passport to issue the visa, then another 3 days for canadapost to deliver the passport back.

Status updated to counterfoil yesterday (May 7). Yay
Hopefully it won't take them forever to dispatch it though.

So that, his and your fathers would have same parent names. Thus you are related.

I Received the passport request today for TRV and submitted my passport at VFS Chandigarh. Received email that passport has been dispatched to OC.
How long does it take for them to stamp visa and sent it back? Anyone has experience recently. Thanks

My mom's timeline; Submitted at VFS Delhi, processed at VFS Chandigarh


PPR - April 24th
Passport submitted - April 25th
Online account went approved with visa details - April 26th
Stamped passport recvd - April 27th
