How Much Time It Takes From Passport to Visa Stamped via VFS

If you pay for tracking service then you will get all the updates through SMS.
They didn't even ask for the SMS option. But we got a tracking number through the email now. But the message on it is strange. It says:
Visa application, tracking ID No. 20190503INJUXXXXXXX is on transit and been dispatched to the IRCC Office through the CHANDIGARH Office, on 2019/05/03 for processing.
We submitted it through Jalandhar. Does this mean that they are going to send it to Chandighar first, and then to Delhi? Or is it simply a typo on the website's part? Either option wouldn't surprise me, because they work in mysterious ways over there...
Yes, they will send it to Delhi ircc office onwards it will take around 15 days to declare final decision.
Although you can check over vfs global website link (mentioned in recipet) with reference number.
So they will send it to Chandighar first, and then Delhi? Or just Delhi straight?
No worry, sat and sun ircc will be closed and your passport will reach at Delhi by Monday surely.Damn...I could have told my wife to go directly to Chandighar then

I received the "Ready for Visa" email on April 3rd (IST), submitted the passport and photos to the closes VAC (VFS-Chennai) on April 5th 2019. The VFS tracking indicates the documents reached VFS Delhi on April 8th and then IRCC on April 10th where it is currently under process.
Its been close to 1 month considering the submission date to VFS-Chennai - Apr 5th
I had written to Canada High Commission - Delhi asking about the status of the passport, no response yet.
As well the PPR email indicates submission to Canada High Commission in Singapore through the closest VAC, I submitted to VFS-Chennai since I am in India.
Is there anyone who has gone through similar timelines or what is the max possible timeline, any help on what could be done now. Thanks.

Think you were supposed to inform IRCC that you are residing in India now, so that they give directions to submit in India. This is what few others have done.
Also Your PR application is obviously being processed in Singapore I guess.
Yes I informed IRCC that I have moved to Indiaon March 10th

I have one major concern, my application estimated completion date was May4th. I got the ready for visa mail on 15th April. I did submit my passport in Mumbai VFS on 17th April. Since then I am getting this message when i track my application"has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office on 2019/04/23"
When I logged in my CIC account, I saw this new message on my application- since my Estimated completion date is May 4, 2019
"We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
Your application is taking us longer than usual to process.About 20% of our applications are more complex to process. They take us longer due to things like how easily we can verify information, how well and how quickly you answer our requests and whether the application is complete. If you aren't seeing updates, contact us using this Web form. Make sure you read your messages and take action when we ask you to."
Should I be worried?
If I have got ready for visa mail, does it mean final decision is made and I am getting visa?
Or still the decision is to be made when they stamp the visa and can ask for more information?
