@SeniorStakes @13nitinsharma @DreamITA Guys I need advice. I have secured local police clearance certificates as well as from other country where I stayed for 3 months. NOW question is, Can I travel to any other country? for 10 day vacation? Do I need to submit pcc for that duration as well? I read somewhere that If I travel now before getting ITA, I need fresh pcc from that country. Is it true? Could you please shed some light on this situation?
Pcc is required for your stay of 6 months or more in a raw in a country. Let's say if you stayed less than 6 months then you're not required a pcc. Another scenario, let's imagine you got a pcc from A country coz you stayed there 6 months in a row and you need to travel to this A country before AOR, then you need a fresh pcc.

Friends,

Slightly inappropriate for this forum but a quick question. One of my employer is little lazy and issued me two letters, both with a different issue.

Which document is better ?

1. One has seal but the bottom line containing CIN number is truncated.

2. Other has no seal but the entire letterhead is correctly captured.

If a portion of letterhead containing CIN gets truncated during scan, is the reference letter still valid? The address, contact details etc. are all correctly present and visible.
I think the one on the official company letterhead is the better option since a seal is not a requirement.

Both are on company letterhead. The scan done by HR person on the one with seal was little faulty with the bottom most portion of the page getting truncated. It did not hide address or phone number but it did hide CIN number which all employers in India are mandated to include only for Indian purpose.

Does the seal make it look more official? I'm assuming it is a company seal? Does the letter with the seal look like it's missing information? If yes, then I'd go with the one without the seal. Otherwise, in my opinion either version would work. My letter from HR is only on company letterhead. I don't believe we have a seal.

Anyhow, I have already submitted my application with the seal one so I'll raise a CSE with the fixed document or the older one.

I think you are worried for nothing, but I understand! Yea it can't hurt it raise a CSE if it will ease your worry.

Well, the thing is that, I worked for my current company as a Trainee from the period Sep 2017 to Nov 2018. So, I was working off-role during that period and was getting the salary in cash mode. However, in December 2018, I was appointed as the on-role employee and was given increment as well. Since then I'm getting salary in cheque mode.

So, how to mention all this in my reference letter?
Do I need to mention the annual salaries for both, off-role and on-role?

Or Only the current one needs to be stated?
And how to mention about my job positions for the past and present one?

Well, I'm working as a Software Developer from the begining!

Guys,

We all know one week and three week draws are slightly inconsistent with IRCC's mandate of conducting draws in a manner which is fair to all. On this forum itself, we have seen the kind of Carnage 30 Jan draw had..Some people were left in limbo for months and others got their ITA out of nowhere.

Let's say a one week draw occurs. There are people who will enter the pool after that draw at a borderline score. They all will witness the same level of frustration we went through post 30 Jan.

Just because it's an election year and elections are hardly 5 months away, I doubt IRCC will resort to either a three-week draw or a one-week draw. They would probably wish to exemplify the way to do it consistently.

Coming to draw size, this one can increase to 3500 or even 3750 at some point in the second half of the year.

The backlog of 446-450 is around 2500. Number of draws until elections is around 11. Thus, the backlog itself will take up 230 spots of each draw if we have to consider from 445. Otherwise, from 447 onwards, the backlog will consume around 150 slots in each draw.

In addition, we should also remember that while we had 3750 / 3900 draws last year, we also had couple of three-week draws between May and October.

Thus, if the draw size increases, it would likely go beyond 3500 at least until October. Subtracting 230 from 3500 gives 3270, which is not a par score for a cut-off of 445.

Here is the summary:
1. If a one-week draw happens, good for folks above 447 as they all will get through. In this case, we should not be surprised if the next draw post this one-week draw happens to be a three-week draw and cut-off may again go to high 450s.
2. If no one-week draw until October, CRS cut-off can eventually reach 447 by October, although I think it will hover around 448 almost.

All of this is only until elections. Anything can happen afterwards.

In summary, folks below 447, I would recommend you to step up your game. Give IELTS etc. It's unfortunate that IRCC couldn't predict the current situation in Dec/Jan and resorted to draws with highly volatile CRS.
I agree with everything but I feel IRCC does the surprise draws to grab more attention towards the express entry program and they are succeeding in it. By bringing down the cut off in the last 2.5 years they have created a lot of publicity for the program and now they are easily able to sustain 2 week draws having 3000+ ITAs with cut offs around 450.

Guys. Not to disappoint anyone waiting for ITA.. does upcoming election and it's results will impact express entry as a whole? I followed Alberta election closely and the way Immigration hardliners won the election is kind of frustrating.. would there be a major change to express entry program once conservatives consolidate power?
Anything can happen post election but the conservatives are more so against the refugee programs than about the express entry program.

1. Mention in your LOE that you were getting your salary in the form of Cash for the period you mentioned, and also attached pay stubs for the three months (for every year). Generally, pay stubs include details such as Name, designation, department, month name, salary breakup, employee id, no. of paid days, company logo & address, leave balance, mode of payment etc.

2. Mention annual salary for on role (Current one) in the reference letter, thats fine.

3. In the reference letter, create a grid with the all the titles you worked in the company. Include title, start to end date and location. This way, you’ll be able to cover all titles. If your employer is not ready to provide this breakup, then mention this grid in LOE, this will work too.

last year in January only 2750 people were invited per draw and in feb and March 3000 people were invited per draw that’s and there were 2 PNP draws where only 450 people per draw invited so to meet there goal they increase numbers of ITAs.

This year there goal is 80000 ITAs. They already sent 31250 ITAs. If they do draws with 2 week gap for the whole year there will be 16 miner draws.

16*3350=53600 ITAs
53600+31250= 84850 which is higher than there goal. So if they want to reach at there target than they do t need to increase there numbers of ITAs per draw.
How did you assume the goal is 80,000 ITAs this year?

Total number of ITAs issued in 2017: 86,023
Total number of ITAs issued in 2018: 89,800

The targets for 2019 are higher than that of 2017 and 2018, so ideally the ITAs being issued should also proportionally increase. So, we should be expecting around 94,000 ITAs to be issued in 2019 considering the above.

Question about personal history for PR application:

List any organizations [name] has supported, been a member of or been associated with an any time. Include any political, social, youth or student organization, trade unions, and professional associations?

So that includes all clubs? Including ones in elementary and high school?
